"Father?" Thor says as he sees a figure sat by the cliff side overlooking the water.

Asta wastes no time rushing over to her father and hugging him, earning a chuckle from the older god. "I've missed you too sweet girl."

"If I had known-" she tries to speak but he shakes his head as she sits next to him, the other two walking up to them Thor stood on Odins other side and Loki on Asta's side.

"It's alright." Odin says before looking back at the ocean. "Look at this place. It's beautiful."

Thor swallows a lump in his throat, "Father... it's us."

Odin smiles, "My sons and daughter. I've been waiting for you."

"I know. We've come to take you home." Thor tells him.

"Home, yes." Odin nods, "Your mother, she calls me. Do you hear it?"

Thor looks at Loki making Loki raise his hands in defense, "Loki lift your magic." he tells his brother.

"Took me quite a while to break free from your spell. Frigga would have been proud." Odin says before gesturing for the two boys to join him and his daughter, "Come and sit with me. I don't have much time."

The two listen, as Asta grabs his hand, her magic having her feel just how weak has become. "I know that we failed you, but we can make this right." Thor tells him.

Odin shakes his head, "I failed you... It is upon us... Ragnarok." he warns them.

Thor shakes his head, "No, I've stopped Ragnarok. I put an end to Surtur."

"No. It has already begun. She's coming. My life was all that held her back, but my time has come. I cannot keep her away any longer." Odin tells them ominously.

"Father, who are you talking about?" Thor questions.

"The Goddess of Death. Hela. My first born... Your sister." Odin admits, making everyones eyes go wide. He looks to his other daughter, "I'm sorry, I spent so much time preparing to send you away, I didn't prepare you for this. She's coming for you, my sweet girl."

"W-what are you talking about father?" Asta asks, a shiver going down her spine.

He cups her cheek, "She will see you as a threat. You are strong, Asta. She has a violent appetite. It grew beyond my contol. I couldn't stop her, so I imprisoned her. Locked her away. She draws her strength from Asgard. But you don't Asta, your magic is from the universe itself. She'll sense that, and once she gets to Asgard, her powers will be limitless. She will want more, and she will try to take it from you. You are her blood, and she will want your magic as her own." he warns her, saddness in his eyes as he looks over his youngest.

"Whatever she is, we can stop her. We will protect Asta, and we can face her together." Thor tells him with a look of determinations.

Odin looks to his son, grabbing his hand, "No we won't. I'm on a different path now. This you must face alone." he tells him. He looks back as Asta who now has tears in her eyes, "I love you, my daughter." Odin then takes in a shakey breath, "I love you my sons."

Odin looks out at the horizon, a small smile of peace on his face, "Look at that. Remember this place. Home." he tells them before a warm glow over takes his body and he begins to fade into stardust as he dies, floating away.

Loki pulls Asta to his side as she covers her mouth to prevent a sob from coming out. But the moment to grieve was short lived as the sky began to darken and the wind picked up. "Brother." Loki says as he looks at the sky.
