Asta watches as Hela jumps into the hole that she made with the green flame in hand. She thinks back to when she was young and asked her father what the runes where for, and he only ever would respond with, 'For your protection'. Now, she understood how true his words were as she watches Hela return with a giant wolf and undead army following behind her.
"Now," Hela says, grabbing her away from Skurge, "we need to figure out what to do with you, sister."
They return to the throne room, Hela forcing Asta to kneel as she takes a seat on the throne. "I get my power from Asgard, a gift from our father that can not be altered, but you... your gift is different, I can sense the cosmos flowing through your veins." she says making the blonde look as her confused. Hela scowls, "You don't even know. She doesn't even know!" she shouts in anger, leaning forward in the seat getting right in her face, "You don't even understand the amount of power you can channel. The universes you can conquer!"
"I don't want to conquer anything!" Asta shouts back.
Hela tilts her head, "That... That is your mother speaking. You can rule by my side if you want. I am after all, the only family you have left." she offers.
"You will never share the crown, you are to selfish for that." the blonde response.
Hela leans back, "That's to bad. This could of been so much easier." she says a bit disapointed before flicking her fingers up causing the blonde scream in surprise as she now is sent into the air, floating up before Hela; her hands now spread apart and her head looking up at the painting of death on the cieling. "Guess I'll just gave to take your magic." she says standing. She was about to start another spell but pauses, hearing something. "What is that noise?"
Skurge looks away from the blonde princess to look at the other goddess, "The common folk aren't exactly falling in line. There's a resistance trying to knock down the front gates." he explains.
Hela sighs, puting her spell on pause as she sends her troops to deal with the issue, thinking about her plans knowing killing her sister can wait, "Tell me about yourself, Skurge."
"Well, me dad was a stonemason, me mum was-" Skurge was cut short of his explanation.
"I'll just stop you there. What I meant was what is your ambition?" Hela clarifies.
"I just want a chance to prove myself." Skurge says simply.
"Recognition." Hela muses, "When I was young every great King had an executioner. Not just to execute people, but also to execute their vision. But mainly to execute people. Still a great honor." she explains, "I was Odin's executioner." Hela stands walking to Skurge, creating a double-sided obsidian axe and offering it to the man. " And you will be my executioner. Let's begin our conquest."

Asta couldn't move from where she was stuck, floating in the throne room. She knew what would happen when Hela felt like it, she was going to be sacrificed and her power will be take. It was an ancient ritual, one she knew very little of but, that did not change the fear she felt. "I'm sorry." she whisper, "I failed. I'm sorry." she cries softly, imagining her mother and father. "I'm sorry."
"Princess" a faint whisper causes her eyes to snap open, but she was no longer in the throne room, no she was outside in the woods on the outskirts of Asgard. "Princess." a voice says making her turn around to face Heimdall.
"You're alive." she says relieved.
"I cannot help you." he tells her softly, getting to the point.
"I understand. Help who you can." Asta replies, unbothered.
