I wake up to everyone rushing about. I slept in Summers' bed but she's out already. I wipe my eyes and peak out to see the outside completely covered in everyone's clothes. Thank god my clothes are with my mom.

"They're only pranking us because they see us as a threat!" Wren announces and I roll my eyes, walking over to Sum who went for a morning surf, "We cant let anything derail this team. We're still a big chance for the win!"

"Wrens right- don't let them psych us out." Bodhi announces and I walk over to Poppy who's staring up at a tree.

"You okay?" I look up to where she is, "Oh shit."

"Is that my goat?" she whispers as Marlon joins us.

"Those jerks." He puts his arm around her. It's nice to see that Poppy has someone.

"New South Wales never gets tired of this one, do they?" Elo walks out, "Grab what you need, we'll get payback on the water."

"But we need to get the goat-" Summer starts, "It was the last thing Poppy's mom gave her before she died." I don't think all that was really necessary but okay.

"It'll still be here when we come back with the trophy." Elo says harshly and I roll my eyes

Poppy agrees sadly and everyone heads back inside.

I look around for Bax but I haven't seen him all day. Ari is sitting and squeezing his little therapy stress relievers but everyone is talking to him.

"Hey-" I stand in front of Wren, "Everyone gets ready for their heats in different ways. Leave him alone."

Ari hasn't caught one wave, I can tell he's freaking out. The horn sounds and his heat is over, not one wave.

Elo lectures Ari while we all stand around the table. Bax walks in and gives my hand a little squeeze before walking over to his sister.

"Sorry for what? Costing me the title?" I roll my eyes at her words.

"Elo, he's out. Just let him process."

"Honestly, I had concerns you were gonna crack under the pressure... but Wren kept telling me that you had clutch!" Elo yells at Ari.

"Alright, back off! You don't get to talk to him like that." Summer stands up for Ari.

"You wanna join him on the bench?" Elo scoffs as Ari tries to get her to stop.

"I'd actually quit surfing forever than win anything for you." She gives a sarcastic smile and I give her a look.

"Sum it's fine..." Poppy starts.

"Remember the purge paper? Elo wanted it to happen, she set everything up. She did the same thing to Tuscany a year ago." I uncross my arms and stand up, realizing what she's saying.

"Summer don't." I didn't even tell her, how does she know?

"Wren, you said Tuscany bullied you." Bodhi interrupts.

The blonde tries to fight back, "She did! She wrote horrible things about me!"

"No wonder." I mumble and everyone looks to me, "You made her life hell, both of you." I point to Wren and Elo.

"That's what Elo does!" my sister says, "She turns us all against each other just to get us fired up in the water! Bax and Ari, Poppy and Bodhi, Me and Wren!"

"Bodhs I don't know what she's talking about." Wren tries to defend.

Bax shakes his head, "Yes, you do you! You both do. Could we just be honest for once?"
