The taxi makes the last turn and stops in front of a building with three floors. On the corner of the building on the bottom floor seems to be a cafe. Jimin thanks the taxi driver and steps out of the car. Is the cafe part of the accommodation? Jimin looks around to see if there's another door he should enter through, but can't find one. He decides to just go into the cafe and ask there since the lights are still on.

When he opens the door he immediately smells roasted coffee beans and cinnamon. He loves cinnamon. The cafe is very nicely decorated with cozy corners and warm earthy tones. The warmly toned wooden floor, comfortable furniture and yellow lights give the place a very welcoming aesthetic, unlike those concrete artsy type of cafes that are common nowadays. Jimin prefers the cozy style way more. He can already picture himself curl up in one of the couches on the right next to the large windows with a book after a long day of shooting. There is a song playing softly in the background which Jimin used to listen to a lot, 'Shinunoga E-Wa' by Fujii Kaze. Damn, Jimin really loves this place. What a mood.

"Yes?" A deep voice fills ups the room, making Jimin almost jump a little. He didn't see anyone in the cafe when he entered. He turns to look at the coffee bar on the left and now sees a man standing behind the bar. A man of about his height with long dark hair reaching halfway down his neck, playfully framing his face, and glasses with a simple black frame. Jimin can see a glistening earring dangling from his ear. He's wearing a black long-sleeve shirt with a brown apron. One of those trendy aprons with brown leather straps and pockets. He's leaning on the countertop of the bar with stretched arms and stares at Jimin without any expression on his face. Jimin just stares at him for a moment, feeling unusually uncomfortable.

"Oh, hello, sorry to bother you, I'm looking for the Airbnb that's supposed to be around here?"

"This is an Airbnb." The man replies simply.

"Oh okay, are you Min Yoongi from Shooky's Shack then?"

"Yup. You must be Park Jimin. You're late." The man sounds frustrated now.

"Right, sorry, there was an issue with my rental car. I forgot to check when is the last check-in time."

"Didn't you arrive in a taxi just now?" He asks with a raised eyebrow.

"I did, the problem with my rental car was that it didn't exist, they gave it to someone else, so -"

"Whatever. Your room is upstairs." Yoongi interrupts and points at the staircase on the right side of the bar. Jimin is a bit flabbergasted by his attitude. Sure, he's a bit late, but there's no need to be so rude.

"Gee, thanks." Jimin says in a sarcastic tone. He kind of just wants to confront the man on his rude behaviour, but he doesn't feel brave or energetic enough for that type of directness right now. He just wants to go to bed.

"Okay, Mr. Sassy, you're the one who's late. I wanted to leave an hour ago already but I had to wait for you." Yoongi says, clearly not afraid to be direct.

"Mr. Sassy?? Why are you so rude to me? I said I'm sorry for being late, there were just some unforeseen circumstances." Jimin now matches Yoongi's directness. He tried so hard to stay calm at the rental car service...

"Ugh, just follow me, I'll show you where your room is." Yoongi rolls his eyes and starts walking to the stairs. Jimin stands still for a moment to take a deep breath to put his ego and anger aside, then picks up his suitcase and follows the grumpy man. He watches how he slowly makes his way up the first staircase. Once they arrive on the second floor, Yoongi points to a little table with a water cooker and a box of tea bags.

"Tea is free, coffee isn't." He murmurs and then continues to walk up the second staircase. Apparently Jimin's room is on the top floor. Nice. When they arrive at the top there are only two doors. Yoongi opens the door on the left and walks in. He turns the lights on and waits for Jimin to enter while he's just staring at the wall with his mouth in a straight line. Is that supposed to be a smile? Pff. Jimin puts his suitcase and backpack down and turns to Yoongi.

"Here are your keys. The big one is for the front door of the cafe, for after I close. Have a good night." Yoongi hands him a key and walks away before Jimin can really say anything back. He just stands there with the keys in his hand and watches how Yoongi disappears. At least he wished him a good night, that must have cost him a ton of effort. Jimin tries to shake off the frustration from this whole encounter and goes to check out the room. It's again lovely decorated in warm colours and cozy textures. The right side of the room is covered in big windows from which you can probably see a bit of the sea, bit it's too dark now. The bed is on the right and in the back is a little kitchen with a small bar and bar stools. There's really nothing in the kitchen besides a small electric stove, a sink, some kitchen supplies and a tiny fridge. No microwave. To the left of the kitchen is a door to the small bathroom. Everything is quite perfect. Jimin kinda wished it wasn't so nice, he doesn't like thinking about how that rude Min Yoongi has such great taste. How can a man like that run a cafe and an Airbnb?

Jimin closes the large white curtains and unpacks a few of his things before taking a shower and finally laying down on the bed. What a day... He cozies up under the blanket and unlocks his phone. He wants to check the profile of the Airbnb owner again. He's sure he would have remembered a face like that if he saw it in the app. Ah, the picture on the profile is just a cup of coffee. That explains it. He scrolls to read the reviews, he remembered them all being positive but he has to double check now. Hm. Yeah. They're all positive. How is this possible? Has he never been rude to anyone else? Only to him?

"Very lovely accommodation and the host was very kind and helpful." Pff. Yeah right.

"Check-in went very smoothly! The host gave us a bunch of tips and he even made an off the menu hot chocolate with mini marshmallows for our son every day. Highly recommend." No way! Mini marshmallows? That couldn't have been Yoongi. Na-ah. No way. Right? Or... was Jimin really being that sassy? Ugh. Whatever. Time to sleep. Jimin turns the lights off and expects to fall asleep quickly after this long day, but he ends up tossing and turning for a while before finally falling asleep. In his dreams he meets a man with long, dark hair and black glasses who steals his car and drives away with his middle finger waving out of the window.
