I live Ames kids lots, but these children gots to be on something.
"TEX WHY DO YOU ONLY HAVE MUSTARD ON THAT BURGER!?" Delaware screeched
"Cause that ones mine!" Texas responded oddly more relaxed.
"That's wrong." Delaware decided
"You ain't right, Del." Texas commented
"You two stop pitchin' a hissy fit!" I stated. They both nodded and went back to preppin food.
"Wait, Dixie?" Delaware muttered in a serious tone.
I turned to him and asked, "What is it, Delaware?"
"When Alabama and Georgia went into the meeting, does that mean the country's know we exist?" Delaware asked quietly. Texas turned around , a worried look on his face. "Does Britain know I exist?" Delaware cried his eyes, getting teary. I immediately dropped what I was doing to be beside the now crying boy on the floor.
"Hey, Del its alright." I soothed he hugged me and put hus face in my shirt. I looked over to Texas who was standing still staring at us. "Tex come here." Texas praticly ran over to us. Utah then walked in the kitchen
"Is everything alri-" He stopped when he saw us "Dixie what happened..?" Utah asked.
"When Bama and Georgia went into that meetin the country's might know of yall now." I explained. Utah frowned
"They probably were just to worried about Cali to realize.." he sighed
"I'm guessin' so." I agreed
"What if he hurts Mass again?" Delaware asked as he wiped his eyes
"You know your pa won't let nothin happen to yall." I reassured,"and if something does happen lordy ima kill em!" Delaware smiled, and so did Texas. Then America walked in the kitchen and then immediately went beside the two states I was beside.
"What happened?" He asked
"Scared the other country's will know of them." I supplied. America sighed and gave the two hugs.
"I'll make sure nothing happens." America stated. "Now let's finish up dinner."
<America pov>
We finished dinner and set the table and are now getting seated.
"Ow!" North Carolina screeched
"What!?" South Carolina screeched back
"You poked me!" North acused
"No, I didn't!" South denied
"Break it up!" I laughed. They frowned and got back to eating. Alaska sat next to me looking unsure. "Whats wrong dear?" I asked
"What if Russia finds out." She whispered
"Alaska I will always protect you." I reassure
"Do you think he knows of me any of them?" Alaska asked
"Possibly Russia, he was close to Soviet." I answer. She frowned at the name. Her brother was her adoptive fathers enemy, though she never know Ussr I could tell she still felt sad when she found out about his death. I've always been careful when talking about them around her because they are her biological family after all. "But if he does find out, he will never hurt you, i promise." I told her, then Hawaii sat down beside her, hearing some of our conversation
"If he hurts you, Alaska, I will skin him and feed him to my peacocks." Hawaii added she smiled at Hawaii, and then the two started a conversation. I smiled at them. I then turned back to the table to see multiple states making threats of violence while holding guns.
How perfect.
