Circra Pov

I froze as the word left his lips, did he see through my disguise? Why was he surprised? I asked myself all these questions as he stared at me as if seeing a ghost.

The way he looked at me, had me growing with desire. I have never felt desire for any man, and it comes as a shock to me to feel one right now. I couldn't understand why I was feeling this way and what made it more scary was that I could feel my magic hump inside me.

I turned to look at him and I still found the handsome stranger frozen in his spot, his beauty was tinted with a dangerous aura I could sense from here. Out of a sudden he turned and left.

I had no idea who he was and I am confused, I knew he was someone of high rank due to his aura but I can't quite figure it out.

I was left in the cell for hours, and I are tired of waiting for the wolves to desire what to do with me, I knew I needed to get to the king somehow which will take patience but somehow my patience was running out, I knew not where gray was taken and I needed to make sure he is safe.

Just as I was about to break myself out, the sound of multiple footsteps coming towards my cell, as I looked out of my cell and spotted soldiers, one of them walked to my cell and I was dragged out of my cell.

I remained calm as I was led out of the dungeon to the unknown, soon I was thrown on the ground at the feet of a man, I lifted up my gaze and glazed into the eyes of a man. Looking at me as if trying to see right into my soul.

Just like the man who came to my cell, he has a dangerous aura around him, but it wasn't as dangerous as the white haired man.

"The alpha as ordered she gets placed as one of the staff, fix her a suitable position in the castle." He said as he glanced at me, a maid, they were going to make me a maid. I thought as I smirk.

"But, Beta... she's human and..." the guard trails off as he is interrupted as the beta glares at him, shutting him up.

"Take her to Ann she will know what to do" He spat as he turned to leave.

I knew I needed to know about Grey, and what may have become of him.

"Wait!" I said gathering up my courage, I could feel the guard beside me freeze.

"You imbecile, how dare you order the Beta?" He said, raising his hand to strike me. As soon as his hands were about to be placed on my skin, I heard a growl and the next thing I saw was that the guard's head had left his shoulders.

My eyes widened as I stared at the Beta. He held a sword as he glared at the body, I was shocked and the rest of the guard behind me were the same as their jaws were open in shock.

"What?" Beta asked as he glared at me as if he didn't just behead someone a few seconds ago.

"I only wanted to ask about my brother, he was taken with me" I said as fear rocked my body, calling Grey my brother was a term we agreed on before we left our village, my eyes still on the blade dripping with the wolf blood.

"Don't worry about him, he has been posted to the mines, we don't keep human trespassers as prisoners just as slaves" he said with a smirk as he turned and left leaving me and the rest of the guard.

It was my first time experiencing murder, and being so close to a dead body, and the funniest thing was the person who did it walked away like nothing happened, I stared at the head of the guard whose head was separated from his shoulders, all I could feel was confusion and fear. Why would the Beta behead him? Was it because he tried to strike me? I could hold my thoughts as several thoughts ran through my head.
