"why would you do that?" says andy angrily walking up to me. everybody's attention is either on him, lydia or kym. "that's what you get for being a cheater" i say. if a man talks shit then i owe him nothing, i don't regret it one bit cause he had it coming.
"what did i do to you exactly? we had a fight and i apologized, i do everything that makes you happy, i treat you so nicely! why, just why?" he asks. "just stop that! i hate men who treat girls as if they're some kind of doll. first you want lydia, now you want kym, what are you going to when you get bored of kym? cheat on her?" i ask
"ok you're exaggerating, what you did was crazy, you're not even involv" andy got interrupted by lydia "are you crazy?" she says with a mad expression on her face.
"huh? are you crazy? i'm literally out here defending you and you call me crazy?" i say, what is she on?? "well you just ruined everything!! you really thought i actually liked andy? i only did that to get back at stacy, and you had to ruin it" she says.
"huh? you were just using me?" asks andy. oooohhh more drama, i love that. "yeah i mean i was at first but then i actually started liking you" she admits. "well i'm done with all of you" andy says before leaving.

me and ashtray leave the party and decide to go to the beach! it's about 5 minutes away from his house so we would be there very soon if something happened.
as we reach the beach we can see a couple whispering some sweet nothing to each other. kinda cringe but whatever makes them happy.
i love the beach, especially on a summer night. it's not summer but that's ok. i love the wind on my hair and the sound of the waves.
we sit on the sand, facing the seaside. the silence is too loud so i decide to break it "is ashtray your real name? i never heard it before" "oh yeah it is. my parents decided to call me that because they thought it sounded nice. i always hated that, that's why people call me ash, it's cuter"
"have you watched euphoria? there's a character named ashtray and i love him, that made me stop hating my name" he then added. "i think it's nice and creative" i say.
"thank you. uh can i ask you something?" ash speaks you just did, babe. "sure" "why do you hate andy so much?" he asks. "i don't hate him, i just think what he did was wrong" i admit. "i think you were a little harsh, maybe you should go talk to him" ash says.
"no i was not harsh" i say. "liv, as much as i love you, i can tell you were hurt because you actually have strong feelings for him" what is he talking about? (he's right). "how would you know that?" i ask.
he smiles and lets out a little laugh. "i can tell. i knew instantly from the moment i saw you looking at him tonight. you are so into him" he says. "actually, i had a crush on you since that party but tonight i realized that i'm not the right person for you. and i know you like me too but you need to be with andy" he adds.
"what? why would i be with him? i don't even think he likes me back. you on the other hand... you like me back and i prefer you over him, you're perfect" i say. "liv stop that. you'll regret getting with me. i know we've only know each other for a few days but i know what's best for you and it is andy. plus i'm going to reject you every time, i want you to be with him" he says.
this is sooo bad!!! i love ash, i don't want crusty andy. but maybe he's right, maybe i should be with andy. but he's to perfect and i don't want to be only his friend because i know i'll get hurt if he ever finds a girlfriend. plus he cares about me, andy could never.
"thank you for that ash, you're really great" i say "yeah i know, now go look for him" he says. "i think he already went home..." "nah, they all arrived in a uber and no uber came back to pick him up, he's probably around somewhere" ash informs me with a big smile on his face. his smile is probably my favorite thing in the world.

i walk around and look for andy for good 15 minutes until i finally find him. ashtray's backyard has a pool we are not allowed to enter today for the party, but there he is... how did he get in? oh the door to the backyard is actually open? how did nobody figure out but andy?
he's sitting on the edge of the pool, not facing my side. i slowly walk up to him and sit next to him. "hey" i say. "hey" he replies sadly. "look i'm so sorry" i start saying. "don't worry" he says interrupting me. don't you dare, it's my time to shine.
"no shut up i want to apologize... look i'm really sorry for acting so bitchy. you were so nice to me and all i did was throw shit at you. you apologized when you didn't need to only because i always have to be in the center of attention and i don't blame you for getting mad at me right now, but please, i don't want to end this beautiful friendship"
that was so good, that was the best way i used my words e v e r. "i forgive you, what i did was pretty bitchy too, cheating on a girl? that's so stupid!" he admits. he's not wrong. i smile and we hug.
