"Please- Please, spare me!!" A man in his thirties begged, shivering in his spot. "I'll give you anything! Money- Fame?- A mansion?- Please, just spare me!!" The man pleaded again to his assailant.
His assailant continued to stare deeply at the man, standing over the man, smoldered with resentment. "You people are all the same." The man chuckled, "All the same." He exclaimed before slashing along the man's neck, killing him swiftly. Blood quickly scattered the place, even landing on the assailant's cheek. The assailant wiped it off his face, the blood danced around his hand. The blood then took the form of a ninja star. He swiftly threw it at his right, hearing a yelp before a thud.
"People really need to work on their stealth..."

The assailant, a well known vigilante named Crimson. And don't think it's a name people gave him, it was a name he made for himself. It was fitting, actually.
The assailant, now known as Crimson, sat along the edges of a building that stood in a busy street. The moon shines its light onto the street. It was beautiful, calming even- To watch everyone doing their own business while some mingle with others. It felt relaxing in a way, to see everyone having a good time.
So it seems..
A villain stomped and rampaged all over the street, destroying everything in his path. Civilians running away with many directions, trying their best to invade the villain's rage. Unfortunately, a few civilians were killed because of their lateness to evade. A hero saw this and rushed in to help, her sidekicks tailing behind. They quickly went into action and managed to save most civilians. But they could not defeat the villain- For the villain was tall and broad- muscular and strong- angered and stressed. The muscular villain kept causing havoc for the heroes, even harming the hero's sidekicks.
Crimson watched all of this uncover from the building's edge. He pondered. Should he help them? If he were to do that, he could be seen as a righteous hero to the eyes of civilians. But if he would help, the heroes could get the credits. He didn't know how they would take his credit, but they could do it in a heartbeat.
But he remembered what his morals are, his rules for himself. To help someone in need, no matter the status, no matter the end results.
With a sigh, he stood up, finished his kebab before diving head first to the ground. With a quick second, he turned himself into a puddle of blood as he hit the ground. He reformed back and ran into action. He slashed himself in the hand and the blood that tripped from the wound took the form of a blade. He gripped the handle tightly and jumped high like a rabbit. The villain didn't realize the presence of the vigilante, too busy causing havoc on the street.
Slow reflexes, huh? The vigilante thought, smirking to himself. And heroes can't stop him? Heh, useless The H/C-haired chuckled softly. He held the blade more tightly, getting himself behind the villain.
The villain didn't realize the assailant's presence before he felt a dark aura emitting behind him. The muscular man turned behind, but it was too late. The assailant quickly charged at the man's neck, swiftly cutting his head off.
The assailant dropped to the ground, still holding his crouched position, with the blade at the same position it had when he cut the giant's head off. The head fell to the ground, rolling, with the body wobbling in place before dropping down to the ground which caused a small earthquake.
Time seemed to stop for a moment, the few civilians that were still there stood there- Some in fear, and some in amazement. But the heroes were mad, because the assailant killed the villain. Not even considering the man's life, killing him with no mercy.
How inhuman The heroes thought.
It was sad, really. How he saved everyone, some may see him as a hero, but some saw him as a villain.
A monster.
A vigilante who wants nothing but justice. If no one do something about the crimes, to give them mercy. Then he has to do it himself.
