Yvonne laid on her bed, starring vacantly at the ceiling. She had a flashback of the ash-black haired guy with the hazel eyes. She'd really loved him but unfortunately she couldn't prove it. He hates her now and can't even stand her face. She remembered vividly how he had almost shot her.
She missed him, desperately. She missed every moment they spent together.
Damn Dion, she cussed. He had blackmailed her to do it with her younger sister, who unfortunately is dead now.
She hadn't wished to betray them.
             She sighed.
Her phone rang and she peeped the caller, then sighed.
         " Mr Herman."
" How're you dear?" The other end asked.
        " Cool, I guess?"
" I heard about your promotion to the CS unit."
   " Oh! Yeah, Zack's quite mad "
           Herman chuckled
" What'd you think? Is he dangerous?"
" Not some one you can't handle. He's one proud peacock. Don't worry about him. Just get the job done and I'll get you outta that CIA." He coughed
         " You okay?"
" Never felt better." He always said that even though he wasn't. " Heard from Knight?" His question startled her.
" Knight? Not really. By now he gotta know am the one that deterred the hack."
       " He was the one?"
" Yes. Even set the programme to destroy their servers."
       He chuckled.
" I know things are quite tiugh right?"
    " Yeah sort of."
" Please hang on. It's only an insider that access the credentials and that's why you're there. Once we make success I'll get you okay?"
" The job's not quite bad just the risks behind it "
                         " Okay then, good luck."
The call disconnected and she heaved.

Well then, CIA, tomorrow she comes.

The next day was a weekend and she decided to visit the park. She wore a black tank top, revealing her belly button with a red leggings and topped the tank top with a denim jacket. Her hair was in a ponytail.
She noticed a hag starring at her. A weird stare it was and it alarmed her. She patted the pistol in her inner pocket to make sure it was still intact Incase of any mishap. The hag laughed and walked away.
           A psycho hag.
She sighed. She remembered when she was still little. She had been scared at the slightest sight of a gun. But now, she carried it about, wherever she went. She wondered how she'd become so wild and fearless. It wasnt really her fault. It was a necessity, she  had to become brutal and fearless in order to live. The ones who murdered her dad would have come right after her.
Her dad was an ex CIA agent who had been murdered in cold blood by the same CIA he worked for because he knew more than he should've known.
After his death, they had wanted to kill she and her sister but Mr Herman had saved them and trained her to be who she was now.
She wanted to get back at the ones who killed her dad and until she did that, she wouldn't rest.
She felt as though some one was starring at her. She turned and met a pair of familiar eyes, Maya!
She patted her pistol again. Seeing Maya after such a long time couldn't mean any good.
              Knight!
Could Knight have come along? She searched with her eyes but she didn't see him.
" If it isn't Yvonne Manchester?" Maya said sarcastic, starring at her head to toe.
Yvonne rolled her eyes and crossed her arm against her chest.
" You don't look bad though. Guess the guilt ain't eating you up, huh?"
    " What do you want?
          Maya frowned.
" I want you outta ma life..."
" I already am! We just coincidentally met, you know?"
        " And Knight's life!"
    " What?"
" I want my Knight back. Ever since you left, Knight's gone worse than before. Whatever you did to him, better undo it."
         Yvonne laughed.
" I left so you could keep him all to yourself. Why still complain"?
" Cause he isn't the same anymore. He doesn't talk like usual. Sure, he didn't talk much but now, he rarely speaks a day. He's always alone and it's all because I'd you!"
Yvonne didn't like him like that, she hated him like that.
      " I hadn't meant to." She blurted.
" Sure. It was the devil's handwork, huh?"
     " Watch your tongue!"
        " Or else what?"
Yvonne sighed. Why had it to be if all days, today, to jam Maya. But then, what she said of Knight troubled her .
      " How's he?"
  Maya scoffed.
" If you'd really cared about him, you wouldn't have betrayed him, betrayed us."
   Seriously?
" Can you stop saying that?"
     " Why? It hurts?"
" Forget it." She turned to leave.
" You reinitiated operation DS_troy 001 again, right?" Yvonne stopped in her tracks but didn't turn.
" How dare you?" Maya continued. " That move was the last straw that broke ' your' camel's back. How'd you think Knight reacted? He's not gonna spare you. Just make sure never to show your face to any of again. And better stay away from Knight."
Maya turned the opposite way and left. Yvonne starred after her. If she could just cut the fucking guts off Amaya. She's got too much guts.
           She sighed.
Poor Knight, she hadn't meant to hurt so much. She could imagine how hurt and broken he must be.

  * * *
Maya opened the door to the café. It was jammed with customers.
" Hello Maya." Mr Carson, the owner greeted. Maya just waved and walked through the curtain.
He'd always wondered what those give did behind that curtain. That rented a flat just above his café but he had never stepped foot into it. Not that they prevented him, he was sort of scared of their boss, the guy with the ash black hair. He was just too mean looking.
They'd rented that flat about three years ago yet he wasn't familiar with them. Maya ignored him mostly. Ben always greeted him. Steve would wave so would Kevin. Knight wouldn't even care him a glance.
Maya entered their door. Everyone was present, snacking. She searched with her eyes for Knight and as always, found him in his swivel chair. She starred as everyone silently snacked and minded their businesses.
__Time to break the silence
She made for her chair and crossed her legs
" I met Yvonne today." She blurted. Everyone paused.
" I knew she was up to no good." Steve muttered.
She turned her gaze to Knight.
" She seemed okay, quite happy. She asked of you."
     " Maya!" Kevin called.
" What? She said it wasn't her intention to back stab us. It was the devil." She scoffed.
Knight banged his fist on the table. Maya smirked. He flashed his eyes furiously at her.
" Can you keep quiet, Maya?" He bellowed.
" Sure. I just hope I never meet her again." She said and looked away. She loved the fact that Knight had utmost hatred for Yvonne. It meant he wouldn't want to have her back in his life. It was good.
She must find a way to penetrate
into Knight's heart so he would love her and forget about Yvonne.
Kevin shook his head in disappoinment. Maya loved provoking Knight and he never really understood why.
Meanwhile, Maya's words had really struck Knight's ear.
" She seemed okay though, quite happy. She asked of you..."
      He scoffed inwardly.
Why would she ask of him. Maya jammed her today. He hoped never to even dream of her or else he might really bore a hole in her.
But then, he wondered; how was she?
