"Damn, so you guys have only been here ten minutes and already had a run in with Cayden's hang?" Michael says. "Yeah,  what's their problem anyway?" I ask. Lucas shrugs. "They're just jerks." A lady enters with who I'm assuming is her daughter. The woman runs over and hugs the others, she's another one of their friends. Eddie and the woman come over with her daughter. "Guys, this Beverly and her daughter Emily." Eddie says. "Nice to meet you Emily." Austin says. She smiles but says nothing. She seemed a bit shy.

It has been about two weeks and we're all pretty warmed up to each other, turns out we all have a lot in common. "Well all of us adults are gonna go out for awhile so you kiddos can head to the movies or something, we left some money over there." Eddie says. "Okay dad." I say. Eddie gives me and Austin a small hug and makes his way outside with the others. Richie comes over and ruffles my hair and gives Austin a nuggy. "Daddd," Austin whines. Richie and I laugh. "You kids be safe, we'll be back later." "Okay." I say. "Bye dad." Austin says. "Bye." Richie leaves along with the rest of the parents. "You guys wanna go to the movies?" Michael asks. "Sure." I smile. "Is it okay if I invite my friend Jayden?" Lucas asks. "Yeah, is he the one that was with you at the arcade?" "Austin asks. "Yeah, his house is near the theater so we can just stop there on the way."

Halfway through the movie I get thirsty do to the popcorn and teach for my drink but of course Austin drank it all. "Dude, seriously?" I whisper. He shrugs. "Ugh, I'll be right back." I make my way out of the room and go to the counter to get a refill. As I make my way back to the movie I see one of the bullies from the arcade walking toward me. "Oh, it's you." I glare at the boy. "What's with the death stare?" "Because I don't like you." "Why?" "Why? You picked on my brother!" "Yeah I picked on him, not you." "Well anyone who's a jerk to my brother is automatically on my bad side. It's how it's always been and it's how it'll stay." "That's too bad, i really liked you." The boy sent a charming smile. I roll my eyes. "I'm Cayden." "Y/n." I shove past him and back into the screening room. I take my seat between Austin and Lucas. "Guess who I just ran into?" "Who?" "One of the jerks from the arcade." "What?! He didn't hurt you did he?" Austin whispers yells while sitting up in his seat. "No, he was being scarily nice." "Which one was it?" Lucas asks, he'd clearly been listening to our conversation. "Cayden." "Weird, he's the meanest one." "He's definitely up to something." Michael says while leaning forward in his seat next to Lucas to look at us.

We all walk out laughing at some joke Michael had told us. "Woah, guys check it out." Jayden points out some boy sneaking up on Cayden and his gang. He throws a bunch of eggs at them and then makes a run for it, the boys look furious as they chase after him. We all laugh. "Okay I gotta give it to that kid, he's got some balls doing that sort of thing to Cayden's gang." Michael laughs. "Causen meet Karma, karma meet Cayden." Austin says. I roll my eyes playfully and nudge him. "You're such a dork." "So are you." "Yeah but you're a bigger dork." Austin rolls his eyes. "Hey what time is it?" Lucas asks. Emily checks her watch. "Eight." "We should head back our parents are probably back." "Orrr," I grin mischievously. "We go see what's going on with that boy and Cayden's gang." "Oh, I don't know if thats a good ide-" before Jayden can finish his sentence T/n takes off running in the direction the others went. "Y/n!" Austin yelled, running after her. Lucas hesitated but ran after them. Everyone else following behind. Y/n slowed down and hid behind a car as she eavesdropped on the boys who caught up to the one who threw eggs at them in an alleyway. "Are you insan?!" Austin whispers yells. "Shh!" I put my finger up to his lips. "Well, well, well." Preston says, circling the boy. "Brave one, aren't ya?" Carter smirks. "You're gonna regret doing that." Causen says as he walks closer. He grips the boy by his shirt and raises his fist, before he could hit him I stood up. "Hey!" "Y/n no!" Austin whisper yelled. The boys turn around. "Leave him alone." "Why would we do that?" Preston chuckles. I pick uo an empty bottle laying in the alleyway. "I said leave him alone." "Oooh, we're sooo scared." Carter laughs. I throw the bottle and hit him in the stomach. He grunts and holdes his stomach. "Oh!" Michael squints his eyes and hold a fist up to his mouth. "Nice shot!" Lucas says and high fives me. "Look, I don't have any bones to pick with you just them. So just back off and we'll leave your brother alone." Cayden says. "Or you could just leave everyone alone." "Alright, now your just pushing it princess." Preston says. "Don't call me that." "Oh so cayden can't, but I can?" Preston smirks. "No. Neither of you can. Just leave him alone." "You might not have a bone to pick with her but i do." Carter walks over and grips the back of my hair and pulls my head back. "Now was throwing that bottle at me really necessary?" "Hey, come on man. Let her go, she didn't do anything." Lucas says. "She threw a bottle at my stomach!" "You deserved it." Emily says. "Stay out of this four eyes!" "Hey, don't call her that!" Austin snaps. "Aw I'm sorry, did I hurt your little girlfriend?" Carter says in a mocking tone. "Fuck off asthma." Preston says. Carter chuckles. I kick Carter in his balls, giving the boy enough time to run. The rest of us follow close behind him and run as far and fast as we can until we lose them. We all burst into laughter. "Thanks." The boy says. "Anytime." I smile. "What's your name?" Jayden asks. "Caleb, you?" "I'm Jayden. That's Lucas, Y/n, Emily, Michael and Austin." "So does Cayden and them pick on you guys too?" Caleb asks. "Yeah, we all seem to have that in common." Michael says. "Guess you could call us the outcasts." Lucas says. I chuckle. "Yeah, welcome my fellow outcast." I say in a horrible British accent and do a little curtsy. "Pleasure." He says in the same accent and bows. We all laugh.
