Side Story

"She didn't speak, she didn't eat and sleep." The police officer said to Tae Gu. "She's like that the whole time. It seems she's preoccupied on some thoughts Sometimes her tears suddenly fall from her eyes."She added. Tae Gu is looking at his Auntie Sook Hwi who is inside the jail. He saw her looking at the window blankly ahead and with Doctor Moon's picture on her hands. With his heavy feet he manage to walk away from his Auntie. He didn't want to see her like this but he's hoping that his Aunt will learn from it, they still family despite on what happened between them.

He was driving when his phone suddenly ring. "Wifey..." He said over the phone. "Yah! What's that sudden endearment is all about, Min Tae Gu?" Chae Yoon said over the phone. Tae Gu let out a small laugh. "Why? You didn't want? Why in Barcelona it's easy for you to call someone 'Babe'..." He said and he pout his lips. He heard her Laughter. "Jealous, Mr. Min? Okay... Call me that from now..." She said. Tae Gu let out a smile with his dimples. "and call me Hubby like what you called me at the hospital."He said. Chae Yoon laugh. "Okay, Hubby... Happy?" She said. Tae Gu laugh. "Happy! Very happy... What you do want to eat?" He said. "Can you buy me ramen. I'm craving for it since yesterday." She said. "Okay... I will...I love you, wifey..." He said. "Take care... I love you too, hubby." She said. Tae Gu smile when he heard the last word.

Present days

One month later

"Where are we going?" Chae Yoon said when she saw Tae Gu busy on packing some things including their clothes. She's carrying Chae Rim while Dal hee is busy on reviewing foe her exam. "We will have a vacation this weekend." He said. Chae Yoon got surprised, "All of the sudden?But there's so many things we need to settle first, like our wedding." She said. Tae Gu approach her and cup her face with his two hands. "Relax... We can settle it later but for now I need you and our family to enjoy this vacation." He said. "Pa.." Chae Rim said. Tae Gu and Chae Yoon exchange glances as they both surprised. "Did you hear it? She called me!" Tae Gu said. He reach Chae Rim from her and carry his daughter. "Say that again my princess... Appa!" He said. Chae Rim smile and put her small hand on his cheek, "Ap-pa.." She said. Tae Gu smile widely and hug his daughter. Chae Yoon also smiling while watching her husband and her daughter. "You make my day even brighter, my princess..." He said and kiss her on her forehead. "My litte peaches... You made your Appa happy... Did you know that?" She said while caressing her daughter's face. Tae Gu smile and look at her. "Soon, our baby boy is on my arms just like our daughter today." He said. "What if it's a baby girl again?" She asked. Tae Gu reach her waist and pull her closer to him. "It doesn't matter to me... They are my children, our children..." He said. Chae Yoon smile and hug him. "I love you, Hubby..." She whispered. Tae Gu smile and smell her flowery scent, "I love you more.." He replied.

Chae Yoon look at him with her dazzling eyes. "Woah... Really? You bought a house in this island?"She said. Tae Gu smile while looking at her. They return to the island, the island that quite memorable for the couple. When he thought that Chae Yoon is dead, Tae Gu decided to buy a house near on granny's house.  They're with Mrs. Jang, Dal hee and Chae Rim in their vacation. Dal hee and Mrs. Jang laugh when they saw the house is filled by Chae Yoon's photo. Chae Yoon blushed and look at him, "Yah! What's this? Is this a house or a gallery?" Chae Yoon said jokely. "Eonnie... It's a museum that built for you." Dal hee said and let out a small laugh along with Mrs. Jang. Tae Gu's ears are now getting red. Tae Gu pull her on her waist, "I really miss you that time when I Bought this..." He whispered. Chae Yoon smile and make her heart fluttered. Mrs. Jang Dal Hee decided to sit on the couch while the couple along with their daughter went up to the stair. Tae Gu open the door on the left side. Chae Yoon amazed when they went inside. It's a girl's bedroom and there's also a mini playground inside. It painted on yellow and pink pastel colors. "How do you know that our child is a girl? You told me that you bought this house when you thought That I was dead..." She said and turn around to face him. Tae Gu put down his sleeping daughter on her bed and put a blanket on her. He seated on the side of the bed and pull Chae Yoon to sit with him. "Mr. Min... You guess it right.." She said with a smile on her face. "No, I didn't guess it... I know our child is a girl.." He said. Chae Yoon look at him with confusion. "What?what do you mean?" She asked. Tae Gu hold her hands and press it gently. "I had dream a year ago, the day when you gave birth to Chae Rim... In my dream there's a little girl who learning to walk towards you... And you called her Chae Rim... Her eyes, her eyes smile comes from you and her little dimples is from me.." He said. Chae Yoon smile with her teary eyes. She's amazed how fate reunited them in one dream. "Really? What a coincidence... That day while I'm half unconscious while giving birth to her, I also had a dream about you and our daughter you also called her to her name... That's why I gave that name to her. That time, I really can't remember your face but your voice is somehow I felt safe and secured when I heard it." She said. Tae Gu hug her and caressing her hair. "It's not a coincidence, Mrs. Min... It's fate.. Her name and that dream brought me to where you are.... And I found you and our daughter..." He said and hug her tight. Chae Yoon smile and return a hug to him.

Chae Yoon and Tae Gu decides to visit granny on her house. "Halmeoni..." Chae Yoon called. Tae Gu is following her. Chae Yoon open the gates and she was amazed because it's still the same.  She smile as she recalled they very first day when she came here with Tae Gu, their fun times in this house and the first intimate scene with him. "Chae Yoon shhi..." Halmeoni said and wave her hand. Chae Yoon smile and approach her and hug her. Tae Gu is infront of the gate watching the two. "How are you? I'm glad that I see you again, Halmeoni..." She said. Granny caress her face, "I'm waiting for the both of you to visit me together. And I'm glad that you both overcome the test that fate brought to your relationship." She said. Chae Yoon look at her with puzzlement. "You knew it?" She said. Granny nodded. "I'm sorry if I didn't told you.. Yes, I had a vision to you and Tae Gu. I was hoping everyday to see you again along with your pretty eye smile. And I'm glad I seeing it right now." She said. Chae Yoon tears escaped from her eyes. "Halmeoni..." She called. "I pray...  That You two will stick to each other no matter what happen along with your children may the two of you will blessed a happy and peaceful life that you deserve." Granny said while looking at them. "Now, I can finally feel at ease, knowing the two of you is back to each other's arms and still happy and inlove with each other.  I'll be watching you always with a smile on my face, Tae gu... Chae Yoon.. I'm so happy you returned in this place with your heart bind as one." She said. Chae Yoon smile and also Tae gu.

"Excuse me..." The young man said. Chae Yoon and Tae Gu look at the gate where the young man is standing. "Yes.." Tae Gu said and approach him. "Are you,  Min Tae Gu and Ha Chae Yoon?" He asked. Chae Yoon walk and stand beside to Tae Gu. "Yes.... What can we do for you?" Tae Gu said. The young man gave him an envelope and Tae Gu look at it with puzzlement. He saw a house title and a key inside. "What's this?" He asked. Chae Yoon also look at to it. "Sadly, but Halmeoni... Who is living in this house is died six months ago." He said. Chae Yoon and Tae Gu exchange their glances. Chae Yoon look at to where Halmeoni is seated but she got shocked when Halmeoni suddenly vanished. "We don't understand what your saying, we saw Halmeoni here just now and we're having a conversation with her today.." Tae Gu said. The young man look confused. "It's impossible, Mr. Min... She died six months ago... And as the caretaker of her house, I mean this house... He told me to give that to you when you and your wife returned to this island." He said. Chae Yoon tears escaped from her eyes and run inside the house. She saw how the furniture and some things is still on their places. As she look around her tears continue to fall down running on her cheeks. She open the room where they slept that day. Her eyes widen when she saw some baby girl stuff on the top of the bed. She seated on the side of the bed and she saw a handmade crochet baby dresses. She hug it tightly knowing that Halmeoni made these dress for Chae Rim. "Halmeoni..." She called. "So, you also see to your vision, our daughter, Chae rim.. Halmeoni... I was late...Im sorry..." She said.

Tae Gu is also overwhelmed and shocked while watching her wife crying inside the room. He manage to approach her and hug her to comfort her. "She made this for our daughter, Tae Gu... She made it with love..." She said and her emotions burst out. Tae Gu caressing her back to comfort her. " Halmeoni is happy now in a peaceful place, Chae Yoon... You remember what she told us a while ago, she's looking at us with a smile on her face...We must let her go..." He said. Chae Yoon crying while looking at the dresses that Halmeoni made for their daughter and one thing inside of it got her attention, she immediately released herself from the hug and pick it. Tae Gu's eyes widen when he also saw it. It's a blue onesie  for baby boy and a pair of blue little shoes. "Tae Gu... She also saw our future child... And it's a boy?" She said. Tae Gu look at to it with amusement on his eyes. Tae Gu let out a wide smile and his eyes is already filled with tears. 'Halmeoni.... You surprised me... Thank you for coming in our life... I will never forget the day that we met you here in your house... I'll promise to take care this house forever...' In his mind.
