"Samantha come down stairs!" Samantha's mother called.
"Coming."
Samantha slumped down the stairs to the table where her parents were sitting. Samantha saw a weird smile on her mother's face and asked,
"What's up?"
"We have decided that we will help you," said Samantha's father.
"With what?" Samantha said, trying not to get to excited.
"The horse you found, we are going to let you help it if you bring your phone and you go after school," said Samantha's mother.
"Yes!! Thank you!! Thank you!!!!" Samantha squealed.
"But we will be telling the wildlife people in our area. I talked with my sister who is a vet and part of the wildlife program and she is going to help you. You will meet her after school at the bus stop on Monday to see the horse," Samantha's mother said. Samantha's smile dropped and she turned white with worry,
"Um.... Will the horse... still be wild?" Samantha asked slowly. Biting her lip hoping the answer is yes.
"Honey. If she needs to be taken off the range, it might be to dangerous to let her go back. Don't stress everything will workout fine, I promise," Samantha's mom said.
"Ok," Samantha said quietly, with a sinking feeling in her stomach.
