The girls sat down on the bus and started trying to figure out what it was.
"Ok what did you see again?" Lilli asked.
"I was walking home and heard a twig snap. When I turned my head I saw a flash of black and ran," Samantha said.
"Ok, well I don't know lets ask Emily at lunch," Lilli said as the bus pulled up to their school.

At lunch that the the girls pounced on Emily.
"So what do you think it is?" Samantha asked after explaining what she saw.
"Seriously? You guy don't know?" The their girls shook their heads, " It's the lead mare!! Come on you guys. A flash of black? The lead mare was missing? I can't believe you didn't see that," Emily answered with astonishment.
"We have to find her!" Samantha said. I'm
"Sorry but I'm not allowed to just roam around the horse countries after dark," Lilli said in a soft voice.
"Me too," Emily said. Her voice fading away.
"Oh... ok," Samantha said embarrassed.
