An annoyed sigh sounded from behind Ashton as he lead the way through the thick forest. He didn't have to ask who it was, he already knew even before the sigher spoke up.

"Aasshhhh, we have been walking for a while! This is the most I've ever exercised in a year!" Michael was whining as he lagged behind everyone. His words coming through heavy puffs of air as he tried to catch his breath.

"Come on, Mike. We must be near fresh water some where.. And look on the bright side. Our clothes are now dry.. Sort of.." Ashton shouted over his shoulder trying to find the best path through the thickening brush.

"Yeah, they are now damp from sweat and we are very hot. Ashton! I really think Michael is about to die back there." Calum pointed his thumb over his shoulder at the slow Michael.

"Exhausted too.." Luke mumbled his input.

Ashton abruptly stopped, causing Calum to bump into him. He threw up his arms in defeat and turned around to watch Michael gratefully bend forward with his hands on his knees gasping and panting for air.

"Fine fine! We can rest. For a little. We really need to find that water.." Ashton rolled his eyes to look at Luke who was glancing around the area. If he saw how much of a mess he looked like right now, Luke would surely throw a huge fit.

Ashton closed his mouth to allow the others to catch their breath and to rest for a few minutes. He shook his head and turned around poking his walking stick , that he picked up earlier in the hike, around in the bushes infront of him.

The sound of the birds in the tree tops was almost deafening and very annoying, almost drowning out the sound of something that could be very important to the boys.

Calum opened his mouth to most likely complain about something but Luke quickly covered his mouth with his hands and shushed him. His head was slowly turning left to right trying to identify the sound he heard in the background.

A smile broke across Lukes face and he rushed over to Ashton who was boredly swinging his walking stick at some large leafs.

"Ashton! Shh shh. Listen. Do you hear it?"

Everyone held their breath trying to hear what Luke heard. Soon everyone grinned like dorks. they heard the welcoming sound of a waterfall.

"Fresh water!" Michael cheered, suddenly getting a burst of energy.

"I am so jumping into that water!" Calum grumbled as he waved his hand infront of his sweating face trying to cool himself off.

"About time! Come on guys I think this path might be easiest." Ashton once again took lead and headed toward the sound.

Everyone happily followed, the waterfall didn't sound too far away. Just the thought of cool water was enough to coax the guys onward.
