We see Jeanette sitting by a garden reading while enjoying the day but it comes to an interruption as she looks over to see an explosion come from a classroom as students rush out she looks over and sees Simon walking out with his head down taking his goggles off.

J: " Hello, Simon... I know you've been having a rough day, but I'm here to try to make it better!"

S: "Thank you so much, Jeanette. I'm just a bit down in the dumps today."

J: "Is there anything I can do for you?"

S: "You being here is already doing wonders. Your presence is calming."

J:(she blush and giggle, shyly covering her face) Thank you, Simon. (she hands Simon a present with a handcrafted origami bow.)

We later get a glimpse of Simon throughout the day having a mess-up in his potions and alchemy class

S: (looking over his potion) Oh goodness me, what the heck is this? I must have mixed this wrong. Maybe I have to use a different type of water. (He grabs a new flask and pours the failed potion in... and it explodes....)

The other students laugh at his failures!

J: Oh, no! Simon! What happened?! (she ran up to Simon to see if he's alright) Are you okay?

S: I'm alright, no need to worry. I just... forgot to use the correct water, and it caused a bit of a reaction to happen. (He dusts himself off and sighs to himself a little bit and walks out of the class.)

J: It's okay... mistakes happen. (she comfort Simon and smile) I... I got you something. (she shyly hands Simon a hand crafted origami bow)

S: (he sees it and blushes a little) Wh-why thank you, Jeanette... (He smiles and takes it) That's such a kind gift; I appreciate it greatly.

J: (her face turning crimson red) Th-Thanks. I made it myself (shyly smile and giggle) T-This time it shouldn't explode, I hope.. (she laughs nervously. she smiles again)

S: (seeing the red hue in Jeanette's face) It's beautiful... and don't worry, I don't think it could explode! (He chuckles to try and calm the awkwardness that the room seems to have.)

J: (she smile and take a deep breath.. she take a step a try to put her words together while she's still blushing) You.. y-you're.. you're wonderful Simon. (her heart is beating and she is stuttering ) W-what I.. what I.. mean is.. is.. I... (she cover her face from shyness.)

S: (he is also looking away, having trouble speaking) I-I.. (He pauses a moment, and regains his words) Y-you're wonderful too... (He blushes and looks over at her)...I-I like you, Jeanette...

J: (her eyes widen, she is even more shy, now blushing and stuttering even more) R-really? Y-you mean.. you.. you.. you have.. feelings.. f-for me?

S: Y-yeah...(He looks down at his feet, his face is a beet red) I-I do... I-I-I have had for a while... but I have never had the courage to tell you... (He sighs, happy to have it off his chest.)

J: He stumbled into faith and thought
"God, this is all there is?"
The pictures in his mind arose
And began to breathe
And all the gods in all the worlds began colliding on a backdrop of blue
Blue lips
Blue veins

Later we see the two walking home blushing as Simon lifts his goggles due to the fact he couldn't see out of them from the sweat

J: (she is looking at Simon smiling softly to themselves, her face is still crimson red ) W-what are we gonna tell the other Chipmunks? T-they're gonna freak out when they knew about us..

S: (he looks to Jeanette and chuckles a little bit) Y-yeah... the others are sure to be shocked that it happened... but that's okay. A-as long as we enjoy ourselves together, it doesn't matter what they think or feel about us. (He smiles softly at her, and looks forward again.)

J: W-well you're right. (she smile back to Simon, her hair is blowing in the wind ) A-as long as it's us. (she hold Simon's hand and look towards the sky, her face is still blushing from shyness)

S: (he looks up to the sky as well, while still holding her hand... he smiles) This is... really nice... (He turns towards her slightly and looks at her, with a smile still on his face)

she blush deeply, turning away from Simon in shyness

J: C-could I ask you a question..

S: Of course, you can ask me anything you'd like. What would you like to know? (he tilts his head to the side slightly, to get a better look at her.)

J: (she look up at Simon shyly) W-what made you fall for me? I mean I'm just a nerd girl who wears glasses and is clumsy. (she laugh and adjust her glasses) T-there were a lot of girls who are prettier and braver and better than me.

Jeanette was indeed clumsy but her understanding of magistry intrigued him but it was also her kindness even though she is shy she still does her best when comes to it.

J: He took a step, but then felt tired
He said, "I'll rest a little while"
But when he tried to walk again
He wasn't a child
And all the people hurried fast, real fast and no one ever smiled

S: (he thinks for a minute and then answers) You are right on what you said about other girls being braver or pretty or what not... but you're different than those girls. I love you because of your personality, how cute and sweet you are. (He sighs and puts his goggles back on properly again.) You're the most kind person I've ever met, and I... I just get a feeling that you're the one I am meant to be with...

he finishes his thought in a soft tone.

Jeanette heart beats rapidly, her smile turned to a wide grin and her cheeks turn into a bright crimson red

J: R-REALLY?! I-I'm... I am the one?! (she then hug Simon tightly in excitement) I'm glad! I'm so glad you felt that way about me, Simon. (she hugs him tighter, now hugging Simon's arm as she's happy that her first love likes her back)

The two walk into the house and walked to their respective rooms blushing

J: He stumbled into faith, and thought
"God, this is all there is?"
The pictures in his mind arose
And began to breathe
And no one saw and no one heard
They just followed the lead

The Chipettes and Chipmunks: They started off beneath the knowledge tree
And they chopped it down to make white picket fences
And they're marching along the railroad tracks
They smiled real wide for the camera lens
As they made it past the enemy line
Just to become enslaved in the assembly lines
