The next day we see the group in the forest

E: Morning everyone... *she stretches and smiles at Ken'yo* are you feeling better this morning? *she walks over to Ken'yo and looks at him with a kind and sympathetic expression, her tail swaying slightly as she watches him.*

A: *He sighs and seems a little tired as he looks at Ken'yo.* Ken'yo... how are you feeling this morning? *he glances over to Ken'yo with a kind and sincere expression.*

A: We're going to head to Pae'fiera now, and we're going to make sure you get to see "To'Mami" and that you'll be safe for the time being. I don't know how many times I need to say this, but you'll be okay, and we'll treat you with kindness.

E: Alvin is right Ken'yo, you'll be fine. *she pauses momentarily, before speaking again with a smile that's meant to reassure Ken'yo of her words.* And we just need to go a little further, before we can get to Pae'fiera and make sure you get to see "To'Mami". *she pauses for a moment and then speaks again in a kinder and more sincere tone.* Ken'yo, you don't need to worry anymore, okay?

Ken'yo: *he stares at the chipmunks and chipettes as they both speak to him, before looking down at the ground and letting out a small sigh. After a moment, he looks up at them both with a sad and scared look on his face* I-I... m-miss... my father... *he speaks softly and tears begin to roll down his cheeks as he speaks. He seems to feel sad and worried, and perhaps even guilty. Chipmunks and Chipettes both seem to be genuinely caring about Ken'yo and feel a bit sorry for him, as they both watch him cry.*

Simon: we are making good time we might make it a day early if we cut through this route here.

Alvin: Alright!

Brittany: Fine by me!

Jeanette: okay

Ken'yo: nods his head

T:...*ear twitches*...hmmm...*sniff*...someone's tailing us? *looks down at Eleanor as she looks at him*

E:...*ear twitches*..yeah..i know...maybe we can lose them when we split the paths alright..until then let Jeanette know.

*Jeanette nods and speaks quietly*

J: Understood. *she looks over to the others and seems to be a little concerned as well. She seems to be looking around for anyone or anything that might be following them, as her tail seems to be twitching as well, and she speaks in a more serious tone.*

J: *she speaks with a more urgent tone* Let's be more vigilant from time on. We seem to be being followed. *she pauses for a moment* We can't be sure, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

A: Oh no... *he sighs and looks concerned, as he stares at Eleanor and Theo* So we're being tailed, huh? Right... let's be as careful as we can. *he pauses for a moment* We'll go through this route like Simon was suggesting, and then we'll make our way to the split paths eventually, okay? *he glances over at Ken'yo for a moment.*

S: *he nods and speaks in a confident and reassuring tone* Well, we will keep our eyes peeled for any possible danger. We can't let anything happen to Ken'yo, since he's just a kid. But don't worry, I'm sure we'll be able to evade or get rid of them before they get close to us. *he pauses for a moment and speaks more confidently in a reassuring tone* We'll get Ken'yo to Pae'fiera safely, no doubt about that.

A: Exactly. *he lets out a small chuckle and smiles at Simon with kindness.* Right... anyway, enough talking. Let's get going for now. *he sighs and seems determined to get to Pae'fiera as fast as possible for Ken'yo's sake, and also doesn't really want to be followed.*
