Elsewhere we see Alvin and Simon just sitting there in the middle of their home

J: Is this...

S:...Theodore sent us...home

Welcome to the Ketelief District

As a door opens we see Dave Seville

Dave: Hey is someone there...(walks in the living room)...(his face brightens up)...A-Alvin! S-Simon!

He hugs his sons

Dave's embrace surprises both Alvin and Simon. While Alvin hugs his father dearly and is excited to see him again, Simon is much more reserved and quiet. They both still seem unsure about what exactly happened and why they are back home so suddenly.

Dave is overwhelmed with happiness and relief seeing the two of them back in his arms. He holds them both close and looks at them lovingly, his expression soft with joy and his aura bright with love as he embraces his sons. Alvin immediately hugs his dad and is thrilled to be back home with him. Simon is a bit more reserved and quiet, still trying to process everything that has happened and understand why they are back here so suddenly.

Dave: You both grew up..(laughs) h-hey.. w-where's theodore?

A: (gasp)

As tears began falling down Simon's face

Alvin and Simon both look at Dave with sadness as the mention of Theodore causes both of them to suddenly get very emotional. Dave's question sends a jolt of sadness through the brothers as they suddenly recall the terrible situation that they were just in and they realize that they may never see their older brother again.

As Brittany and Jeanette walk up to the two to comfort the two.

Dave: w-who are you two?

B: A-so nice to meet you, Dave i'm Brittany Miller and i'm alvin's..well partner

J: And i'm Jeanette Miller...i'm.. I'm Simon's partner I wish we did'nt have to meet like this

Dave looks at Brittany and Jeanette as they approach him and the two. He is taken aback when Brittany introduces herself as Alvin's partner and when Jeanette describes herself as Simon's partner. The expression on his face changes from happiness to confusion as he tries to process this new information. He doesn't understand why Alvin and Simon have partners that he has never seen before or heard of before.

Brittany can feel the change in Dave's emotion and can tell that he is now feeling confused and a bit uneasy about Alvin and Simon having these partners he never knew about. She tries to keep her smile and stay positive as she addresses Dave's question. Jeanette stands beside her in complete silence and doesn't say anything, her look of sadness and grief still present.

Dave: W-well nice to meet-

A: we lost him, Dave...

Dave turns to alvin

Dave: huh?

S: Theodore..Dave..we lost him...he used some sort of home spell...a-and we can't get back to him and..and..

Jeanette puts her hand on his shoulder to calm

Simon is overcome by the sheer sadness and grief as he tries to explain what happened to Dave. He cannot help but break down as he realizes that the one they just lost is their youngest brother Theodore, a person very dear and close to their hearts. Jeanette puts a comforting hand on Simon's shoulder, trying her best to comfort him as he is just too overcome with emotions at this point. Alvin also remains quiet, having not much to say after Simon tells their father what happened.

Dave's expression changes to one of complete shock and disbelief as Simon breaks down and confirms that Theodore is now gone and they have lost him. Despite being happy to have his sons back home, Dave is now overwhelmed with sorrow and sadness for his lost son. Brittany's comforting grip on his shoulder also reassures his heart and gives him some comfort. Jeanette's hand on Simon's shoulder does the same, her quiet gesture of kindness and reassurance helping to comfort Simon as he is overcome with grief.

Dave's heart is now torn apart and he is completely devastated by his children's news. Despite wishing to embrace the two younger boys, he is unable to as he is now overwhelmed by intense grief and pain. He struggles to process all the information and is now at a loss of what to do. Alvin still looks up at Dave, his eyes filled with sadness and sorrow, unable to say anything else. Simon is still sobbing uncontrollably, he does not wish to talk or do anything at this point but just to grieve for his younger brother.

Dave:...l-lost huh?? I don't believe it.

A & S: Huh??

Dave: are you gonna give up that easily...ever since you boy's left I have been worried sick...i saw Alvin win his first tournament...simon you have your potion making achievements...and Theodore his kindness was his strength literally...(stands up and looks at his sons)...Now are you gonna give up?

Dave's question completely surprises Alvin and Simon as they both look up at their father in bewilderment. Neither of them expected this reaction from Dave, but it suddenly gives them a surge of newfound strength and courage. Their grief does not overtake them anymore as they are filled with newfound confidence and determination after Dave's speech. 

Dave's words stir their memories of their younger brother Theodore, a person who was always encouraging and inspiring to them and was never willing to give up easily. Alvin and Simon now look at each other filled with renewed vigour and resolve.

Alvin and Simon look at each other with renewed confidence, knowing that they cannot give in and give up. They are driven by Dave's words to push onward and not give up looking for their older brother. They know that they have always been able to rely on Theodore in their most desperate times and now it is time for both Alvin and Simon to put that energy and determination into finding him

A: (wipes his tears away) Right!
S: Yeah we're not quitters

Dave: that's my boys (hugs them both) you two have grown so much (he turns to Brittany and Jeanette and gives them an encouraging smile)

Back with Eleanor and Theodore,

T: (ROARS)

As we see Theodore running through a village covered in blood

E: AHAHAHAHAHA! SO THAT'S A BEAST! HUH? (SHE SMILES AS SHE CRACKS HER FIST!) NOW...I WANNA GET BLOODY
