In every sunset
And in every drop of rain there is you
To me you're the clouds, the stars
And all the beautiful views
Your lips taste like wine
Your hair shine so fine
I saw you across the hallway smiling at me
I wonder if this is how it always going to be
Your eyes dark as the moon
Your art takes off the glooms
The unfinished book on your desk
The texts you never get
All the questions you avoid
All the smiles you destroyed
You still the sun bringing light
You still the one i like
That one picture of your art I printed
Im holding it close and I never left it
That one conversation you left me on seen
I sweared by my life that I would leave
But life always take me back to you despite
Or is it me picturing you with the sunrise
The pain you feel on your own
The calls that never done
The sorrow you left inside
My broken heart and pride
The red long thread connecting us
The scissors wont cut
The ghost of you in my notebook
The messages I sent around the clock
I don't understand what's went wrong
I don't understand what should've been done
The reasons behind us crossing paths
But is it meant to last?
