If you want to meet me to test things out
To see if I'm worthy to be in your life
Then after that you go in your own way
You stop texting me and disappear again
And i stay here
Waiting for you
More attached to the ghost of you
To all the nothings
And months passes by turning into years
You will pretend you don't know my name
You forgot everything
And i will still be the same
Even after you disappear
And on a rainy day you will come back
Asking how i was doing
Like we stopped texting last night
You asked me to leave and i did
I loved you so bad i begged for a text back
And now its just like this
I drink a poison
Every time you come back
And you refuse to let me let you go
You refuse to cut that long thread
You would lose me if you did
So don't answer my texts
When i come back
Asking if you are alright
Don't light the hope inside
Let it die and i will burry it
With the tears i cry out
Every night
