Chapter 3: Fever

Davi slept until her Tuesday alarm clock went off. Her mom came in her room to check on her and Davi asked to stay home this time.

"Alright baby, I hope you feel well again soon", Bayleigh said kissing her daughter's forehead.

Dani called again but this time Davi didn't answer. Davi wanted to sleep until this bad feeling went away. Davi felt depressed. She was thinking of everything that was wrong in her life.

She was no longer the virgin. She was no longer the girl who said no to peer pressure. She was just another one of Dani's bitches who she'd drop when she found something new and shiny.

Luke hopped out of his bedroom when he saw Davi sleeping in the clothes she wore to school the prior day he knew she wasn't sick but going through some sort of withdrawal.

"Davi, I'm concerned for you", Luke said.

Davi just pretended she couldn't hear him and waited for him to walk away. Once he did, she went back to sleep.

Davi woke up at 3PM and saw 6 missed calls from Dani and a text asking where she was.

Davi texted Dani she stayed home because she didn't feel well.

Dani replied with a text asking if Davi wanted to go shopping. Davi shot out of bed and called Dani.

"Yeah, we can go to the mall and get us some clothes sis", Dani said over the phone.

Davi rested her eyes until she heard a pounding on her window. It was Dani. Davi hopped out of bed and Dani realized Davi was still wearing the same clothes.

"Girl are you okay?", Dani asked kind of concerned.

"Yeah I just felt sick ever since the molly.", Davi replied.

"Let's stay sober today sis", Dani said smiling.

Davi hopped out of bed and the rush of hanging out with Dani was gone. Now it felt like a chore. Davi couldn't imagine anything new or exciting they could do. It would just be drugs and sex.

The two girls walked to the mall and saw a T-Shirt stand.

"Let's get matching T-Shirts", Dani said pulling out a twenty dollar bill.

The guy running the stand asked what they wanted on the shirts.

"Daviana & Daniele 4 Life", Dani said to the guy handing him the money.

"This isn't going to be enough", the guy said.

"I'll let you eat my pussy", Dani said.

"That works", the guy said.

"I'm 15 you molester give us the shirts", Dani said snatching her 20 back.

Dani put her new shirt on and Davi did too. They walked until they saw a store that read "Fever".

"Oh this is the one", Dani said.

There was tons of trendy clothes that were scandalous. Dani started putting shirts and jeans in her purse.

"Pick a fit sis", Dani said to Davi.

Davi looked around until she found a leather skirt with a matching bikini top. It was black with little flames on it. Davi fell in love with this outfit. She saw the price tag $90. Davi didn't have that money.

"That's sexy, very Beyoncé.", Dani said.

"I can't afford it", Davi said.

Dani then pulled out two forks and a lighter and magically slipped the security tag off and slipped the outfit in her bag.
