Chapter 6: Bitch, I've Missed You

Davi reached down to decline the call from her mother. When she got another call from her mother. She declined again so her mother wouldn't hear the fighting of Dani with her mother.

Davi looked down to see a text saying "Come home now." from her mother. Davi knew she was in trouble.

"Dani I gotta split", Davi said showing Dani the text from her mother.

"Oh shit, I didn't think she'd do it.", Davi said.

Davi was now upset and walked out and grabbed her outfit from Fever. She didn't have a ride home so she called Monte.

"Yeah I'll be there in 10", Monte said.

Monte arrived in his truck and Davi hopped in. Davi was happy she wasn't feeling high anymore but was scared of what her mom was going to say.

"I think I'm in trouble Monte", Davi said scared.

"If you don't wanna go back, you can stay with me", Monte said trying to be nice.

Davi thought Monte was sweet for offering her a place to stay but his house was weird. She couldn't get over the camera in the corner and how weirdly she felt sore when she woke up.

Her mind went to the worst places and wondered if he had done anything to her in her sleep. They arrived and Monte kissed Davi.

Davi hopped out of the truck in Monte's clothes. She took a second to try to gather her thoughts together before turning the doorknob. She took a risk and walked in.

"You lied to me.", Bayleigh said.

"I know.", Davi said looking defeated.

"You went to Dani's to skip school and fight Jessica Hilton? Then you went with Monte in his truck? He's 17 Daviana and you're 14. What the fuck is going on with you", Bayleigh said concerned with her daughter.

"Who told you this mom? Was it Jessica or Luke? I don't know which is worse. If it was Luke then my own brother is a snitch on me. If it was Jessica, I thought she learned from the first ass whooping.", Davi said with attitude.

"The school is suspending you over the video with Jessica.", Bayleigh said.

"How can they suspend me? It was off school property.", Davi said.

"Jessica was called to the office and asked about the markings on her face Daviana, you can't be that stupid can you? You're fucking lucky she didn't press charges or even call the police.", Bayleigh said.

"Jessica spreads it to the world, she's a fucking slut", Davi said.

"You don't talk to me like that. You wanna be grown and use the word fuck when talking to your mother you'll learn real quick. You don't play that shit with me. You're grounded for a month.", Bayleigh said.

Davi stormed off to the room and for the first time since Friday she took a shower. She was angry. She was mad that Jessica snitched on her to her mom. What a bitch move right? Jessica was going to pay.

Davi got out of the shower and went to bed. Davi learned she was suspended for 2 weeks. She couldn't believe it was so long for something off of school property.

Davi spent the first 2 days of her suspension in bed. She knew it was Saturday. Dani asked to hang out. She knew she couldn't. Monte asked to see her and she knew she couldn't.

"I'm covering Diane's graveyard. Making double. You two stay home. No one over. Davi's grounded.", Bayleigh said to her kids.

Bayleigh left and Luke sat down next to Davi trying to spark a conversation.
