Davi hid waiting for Dani and Larissa to leave. However they asked the worker where Davi was. The worker didn't say. The two continued to call out for Davi for 10 minutes before deciding to leave.

What Davi didn't expect was the worker to call the police. 3 police cars pulled up to the gas station where Dani and Larissa were in handcuffs in the back.

"Where's the third girl", the officer asked.

Davi came out and they patted her down.

"Found all sorts of drugs on the other 2", the officer said.

"My moms on the way", Davi said.

"Good, what are their names. They won't speak.", the officer asked.

"Dani Shay and Larissa. I'm not sure her last name but we're from Chicago, Illinois.", Davi said.

Davi couldn't believe she just snitched but she wanted everything to go back to the way it was. Getting high in her own bedroom. Watching movies with her brother. Dancing to SZA with Dani and Sheryl.

However when Bayleigh, Sheryl and Larissa's foster mother showed up. It was all screaming.

Bayleigh blamed Sheryl for everything. The drugs, the disrespect, the running away.

Sheryl blamed Bayleigh for leaving her kid unattended.

It was screaming. Dani went to hold Davi's hand as the parents fought. Dani slipped Davi's a bag of over 30 Vicodin.

"I have a feeling we won't be seeing each other for a minute. I think Larissa's bitch ass snitched. She'll be dealt with.", Dani whispered.

Davi felt greatful. She was also elated that Dani didn't suspect her and was quick to blame Larissa.

Eventually, Davi got the idea to blame Kevin for the drugs giving them his address. Dani and Larissa smiled.

"He said he'd kill us if we didn't sell them for him. Just look at her black eye.", Larissa said.

After hours and hours and the sun being well up, the cops arrested Kevin and said the girls were free to go to their mother's care.

The car-ride home with Bayleigh was quiet. Almost too quiet. How was she not screaming at her. How was she not angry.

"You're a kid. I can't blame you. You're going home and packing for the mental hospital. I called they can check you in for a 2 week stay.", Bayleigh said.

Davi was crushed. She didn't want to go back there but she didn't have a choice in the matter.

They arrived in Chicago but the sun was setting. Davi slept most of the carride. She had to hide the Vicodin.

She had no intention on staying clean. The mental hostpital would take care of her and withdrawal symptoms and she'd go right back to Vicodin after.

The drive to the mental hospital was also quiet. Davi hadn't seen her brother at all.

"Where's Luke", Davi asked.

"We've agreed it's best he doesn't see you until you're better. He's blaming himself for this you know. Oh no you wouldn't. You're so damn selfish.", Bayleigh said.

Davi was checked in at the hospital and the nurses showed her around even though she knew all too well what this hospital was.

The first week went fast. It was a blur especially with all the withdrawal treatments.

Dani visited once. Davi noticed her once bleached blonde hair was a very dark brown now almost black. It looked a little longer too. They just held hands.
