How could he have slept so long?,It was their training day and he just woke up.He's becoming lazier everyday.

James jumped down from his bed and headed for his bathroom.He brushed his teeth and changed into knicker and a light shirt.

He ran his fingers through his hair a few times before running out of his cottage.

"Fuck!". He cursed.The day is more brighter and he's sure the training was already over.What type of beta his he?,He missed the training and nobody even bother to wake him.

The training ground is behind the pack-house from his cottage. He passed Rose's cottage faster.He knows she won't be there.She is a warrior and the assistant leader after all.

When he neared the pack house,he saw Rose leading Helena back to the pack house where everyone else will be to await the Alpha's speech.

"Luna you can't be out there." James could hear Rose voice now that he's closer.

"Of course I could.Jayden was just being irrational and -oh James good morning." Helena greeted in the middle of her bicker and Rose also raised her head to meet his gaze.

"Morning James." Rose mumbled.

"Morning Helena,Rose.Can someone tell me what's going on here?".Following them into the pack house,he finds the place empty.

"The Alpha ordered me to bring the Luna back but she was not happy with it." Rose slumped on the chair next to the one Helena was sitting.

"Jayden was just looking for ways to get rid of me,I know." Helena huffed dramatic and James rolled his eyes at her.

"Helena calm down.what actually happened Rose?." If he missed the training,the least he could do is help calm the Luna down and help Rose our of her misery.

"Well,I wanted to join the training as usual but Jayden said I'm not strong enough and he hold me off till the training is almost concluded but I decided to join in.Jayden then order Rose here to take me back."

"You just gave birth it's not up to two weeks Luna.It would be painful to train." Rose sighed.

"Helena you had a rough time birthing little Alexia.You are not suppose to be outside yet.You should still be resting.Who is with Alexia presently.?" James asked and Helena jumped on her foot.

"I have to go now.I need to feed Alexia."

"You left her alone?." Rose asked amused beating James to it.

"Of course not.Perry the housekeeper at our cottage is looking after them.Although the kids are still sleeping and won't give her much trouble.I have to go check on them tho." Helena hurried out of the pack-house but stopped at the door.

"I'm coming for you Rose.Don't think i will forget today, you gang up with my mate against me."

"I was just doing what I was ordered". Rose sounded vulnerable.

"Yes,yes you were." Helena exited the pack-house leaving both Rose and James alone in the building. Rose rest her head against the couch closing her eyes.

"You know she doesn't mean that..don't you.?She was just pulling our legs". James spoke into the quiet room.Looking at the woman.

"I wouldn't know." Rose replied.

"Helena was just joking.If she actually comes for you, then it will be in a friendly manner.She's a nice person." James wanted Rose to know Helena.

Helena had been his friend when there were Rogues and still is now that they are a pack.She could say the arrival of Helena was what prompt them to finally got rid of Alpha Derek.
