    James was devastated.He couldn't eat or drink anything.His friends had come over to support him.In few hours,it will be his mate death anniversary.The seventh year!.

  The nights before the death day are always worst.He would go through it reminiscing the pain he had put Linda through.

Those moments he would nearly go crazy,try to hurt himself.At a time,He attempted suicide but got saved by Jayden.

So since then,Jayden,Chris and Ella-Jayden's sister never leave him alone in does dark days.Now Helena has joined them since three years.Same goes for Damion the Alpha of moonlight pack and also Ella's mate.

He watched as all of them in their black clothes pouring each other drinks in the living room of his cottage.Discussing.They always try to involve him in the conversation trying to make him feel better,trying to distract him from drowning in guilt.

Damion and Ella had arrived the day before,to mourn Linda and help James through his misery.He is forever grateful to them for the visit. The Alpha had left his pack with his heavily pregnant mate to help him grieve.

"I wished I had met her." He heard Helena lamented.It is true that she didn't know Linda.She met them four years after Linda died-was killed.

"She was one of the loveliest person i know.I am sure she's in a happy place now." Ella said sadly and Jayden nodded.

"What are you doing here Ella?." James asked with his slightly cracked voice.All eyes turned to him.Some surprise he spoke for the first time that day.Some confused and Ella slightly hurt.

"What do you mean by that?,She knows what day it is and cared." Chris grunt at him.

"Have I done something wrong that you don't want me here?,James we were best friends before I left to be with my mate and I still consider you my friend.Linda was like the sister I never had.So I'm here to pay my respects to her." Ella looked like she was going to cry in a minute.Her mate-Damion and her brother-Jayden were soothing her.He sighed.

"That's not what I meant Ella.I am sorry that my question hurt you.What I'm trying to say is that you are heavily pregnant right now,What if something had happened on you peoples way here?,what if you had birthed the baby on the way and something happen to you both,do you think I will forgive myself?." He explained and a lot of them release a sigh of relieve.Ella gave him a small smile.

"That was why I brought a nurse with me.She is staying at the pack house with things I will be needing Incase the baby decides to come." That did ease him a little.

"And the doctor said she's scheduled to deliver in a month time.Any moment from then will be too early." Damion added.

"We have a hospital here James and our doctor is one of the best.If Ella notice anything strange,then I will be the one to drag her there myself." Jayden contributed and James smiled sadly.

Before any of them could say a thing,Little James(Jamie) and Betty-Ella and Damion's first child rushed into the room alarming everyone.

Jamie ignored his parent and ran to James and jump on his lap.

"Uncle,Betty said her dolls her better than my train toy is that true?." Jamie stared at James with hope.

"Jordan!,I thought Perry put you to bed already,why are you here?". Helena asked sternly and Jamie rolled his eyes.For a three years old,He's got guts.James chucked.

"I just wanted to ask uncle Something.
Moreover Betty's mom is not yelling at her." Everyone erupt in laughter.

"You shouldn't compare Jamie,You both are past your bedtime.What if something had happened when you and Betty were coming?,You both are wrong.You could have been hurt." James admonished the kids.Looking from Jamie to Betty.Both of them looked guilty.
