‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ As the next day arrived, Elora occupied her usual spot at the Gryffindor table in the bustling Great Hall on a Tuesday morning. While the boys were off playing pranks on Slytherin students, for now, she had found company with Lily Evans, Marlene McKinnon, and Alice Fortescue, her fellow dorm mates. Despite sharing a dormitory, Elora hadn't spent much time with these girls, as she had always been with the four second-year boys

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "Valerie, I don't understand how you can tolerate that insufferable Potter," Lily huffed. "He's been pestering me about going to Hogsmeade, even though we can't go yet!"

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ James had been in love, like literally, head over heels with Lily since the second term began. Although he had found her annoying in their first year, he had slowly come to realise she wasn't as bad as he thought. For Lily, though, it was quite the opposite. His repetitive attempts to compliment her and to get her attention were nothing short of exasperating, to the point where she couldn't even stand to be in the same room as him. Unfortunately, it was a situation she couldn't escape.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "Honestly, Lily, I don't know either," Elora sighed. "Just yesterday, he tried casting a charm on me just because I accidentally blew up our cauldron."

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Lily rolled her eyes. "Typical Potter," She muttered. "I don't know what goes on in that head of his."

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Meanwhile, at the Slytherin table, a commotion had erupted as the Slytherin students discovered the pranks pulled by James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter. They had added a charm to their food that made their hair turn bright shades of red and gold, which of course Sirius had finally perfected.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ The four boys were in the midst of attempting their escape when the commotion in the hall alerted Professor McGonagall, who had been patrolling the corridors. Unfortunately, the moment they pushed open the doors to the Great Hall, they were met with the stunned gaze of Professor McGonagall.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "You four! In my office, now!" Professor McGonagall's voice echoed sternly across the hall.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ The four boys exchanged glances and followed Professor McGonagall out of the Great Hall, leaving behind a room full of laughter and chaos.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ As they walked through the stone corridors of Hogwarts, James couldn't help but mutter, "This detention's gonna be rough."

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Sirius smirked. "At least it was worth it."

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Peter, on the other hand, looked a bit pale. "Do you think they'll take more points from Gryffindor?"

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Remus let out a sigh, "Probably."

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ The commotion would soon come to an end after Headmaster Dumbledore was able to revert the Slytherin's hair back to its normal colour. The Slytherins went back up to their dorms early, not having the' stomach to eat after the events, while the other houses enjoyed their meal.
