WYLMB Chapter #7

- Jess' Point of View (POV) -

Sigh.

Help! I just can't seem to get to sleep!

What happened just a few hours ago just kept on replaying in my mind. And I don't think it is going away anytime soon.

And it is currently 4:46am right now, and I have to get up and get ready for school by 5:55am.

Wow. Just wow.

Now, all I can do is to just close my eyes, and hope that exhaustion will take over me and let me have some sleep and energy before I take on whatever is going to happen tomorrow. Which I have a feeling isn't going to turn up too well.

Knock. Knock.

I hear someone knocking my bedroom door. No shit Sherlock but... What? It is like 4:47am right now. Who would it possibly be? I mean it is surely not my parents because let's be real, they don't even acknowledge my existence. And I barely have any friends in my school and the few that I know aren't even that close to me that they know my address, right?

And before I know it, I was proved wrong in just a few seconds.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

The knocking became more hurried and intense.

Knock. Knock. Knock. Knock!

Feeling annoyed by the constant knocking on my door, mustering up my courage and wrapping my blanket around me, I inched towards my bedroom door, embracing what, or should I say who, I was going to encounter in the next second.

And I opened my bedroom door to the biggest shock of my life.

"Sam? What are you doing here... No, how do you even know that I live here?!"

"I have my own ways kitty so if you were to stop asking and let me in that would be the best of both worlds." Sam replied monotonously as he forced his way into the room and lay peacefully on my bed.

"So, are you going to answer my question? Or are you just going to continue lying there and not do anything?" I asked Sam with my arms crossed and while staring at him in the dark.

Apparently, that was an extremely wrong move to do.

"I've answered that question earlier on if you haven't catch that just now and I do really like your choice of clothing you have there. And that position you are in." Even in the dark, I could still sense him giving me his signature smirk.

Oh, that jerk!

This is when I looked down and see my dressing. I was wearing really short pyjamas shorts that barely covered my thighs and along with a really sheer white top.

Oh, they joy.

Looking around, I quickly grabbed my hoodie that was lying on my table top not to far away and quickly put it on.

Now that's better. Back to the topic.

"Ok let's not get distracted here. And to answer your answer, no you have not answered my question. So answer me now- why are you here?"

"First of all, it was very hard not to get distracted considering the type of clothing you choose to wear just now. Second of all, I am now very confused on how to answer you considering the fact that just bombarded me with a bunch of 'answers' and expect me to answer them all,"

No joke, even I am now confused on this whole 'answer' thing.

"Lastly," Sam continued, "I am here because I wanted to confront you about something that has been on my mind for quite some time now."
