"People, so this is how you solve a simultaneous equation. Please collect your homework before you leave." Grabbing my bag, I hastily stuff that piece of scrap paper into my bag. The week has finally ended.

No more school,

No more annoying people,

No more lectures,

No more Jake.

Jake Thomson, 17, hottest boy in school. The guy who was my high school boy crush. The guy who was my neighbour down the block. The guy who never noticed my presence.

Never.

I've always liked him since the day I first saw him, which was the day when he moved in to be my neighbour.

That's what I call, an attraction at first sight.

Every day I will not fail to see him with a new girl, breaking the previous'.

But little did he know that by doing that, he was breaking mine too.

This may seem creepy but I actually have a little notebook, stashed in the sacred corner of my bag. It contains all of my encounters with Jake.

From seeing him every day to him seeing me. Which hasn't really appeared in the notebook...

Yet.

Going to the canteen and laying out my pens, I went to my usual spot to update my notebook all about Jake. That was usually my favourite time of the day as I try to recount all the possible interactions I had with Jake throughout the day.

After spending a few minutes, I grabbed my bag and was about to head out of school when I bumped into something hard.

But warm.

"Oops... I'm so sorry..." I whispered as I tilted my head up. My whole body froze for a second to what I saw.

Nah, not Jake but his best friend, Sam, with a smirk tugging at the side of his full luscious lips.

This was all just too much for me to take in. I needed to leave, now. And fast.

Just as I was about to leave, his voice halted me in my steps.

"Well well, sweetheart, are you missing something? Something important and will potentially ruin you in this school?"

I turned around to the nightmare of my life.

In his hands, was my notebook of Jake.
