WYLMB Chapter #6
- Sam's Point of View (POV) -
What on freaking hell?
What on earth was Jess talking about earlier on? She said that she wants to break up with me?
Fat chance, Kitty.
But breaking up with me isn't really the main problem we are facing right here, right now. The main point is that she wants to break up with me, is because of Jake. All she cares about is Jake's feelings.
But then, what about me?
Woah woah woah! Slow it down, slow it down! What on freaking planet earth was my inner thought even thinking about just now? Was I hurt just because little Jess cared about Jake and not me?
The word is jealous, Sam.
Inner thought says what again? Me jealous?
Never.
But thinking back, it was really not gentlemanly of me to just leave Jess alone in the car park while I drive back home in comfort. After all, I was the one who offered her a ride, right? Maybe I should be more responsible and professional and turn back to school and fetch her home?
And probably apologise to her as well?
This time, I stomp on my car's brake, hard, making the car jerk to a sudden stop violently.
Seriously man, if I am going to continue to have such thoughts in mind, I might as well die in a car crash now. It is so much better than this mental debate that is killing me.
"HONK...! HONK...!" A car drives past me while punching on his car horn profusely. Oh, and not forgetting to flash me the finger.
The middle one of course.
Returning him with the same finger, I finally decided to drive back to the campus.
After all, she is my girlfriend.
Well, damn it brain.

- Jess' Point of View (POV) -
Watching his car drive away, I slowly walk back into the dark campus. Well, since most people have already left for home, I guess that leaves me all alone without a ride home now. Scrolling through my rather short list of contacts, it only made me realised how little friends I have.
Oh when I say, little, I also mean...
None.
Giving up, I decided to call my parents, even though I doubt they will even care about my well being.
"Sorry, but the number that you are calling is..."
Argh damn it, why did I even bother? I should have known better! Staring at my old Nokia phone, I threw it against a wall in front of me, knowing that it probably won't break.
Well, I am actually quite certain about that part.
"Hey, Jess, correct? Are you ok?" I heard a familiar voice talk to me while feeling the seat beside me sinking in, indicating to me that the person had sat beside me.
Looking up, I saw the guy who consoled me earlier on.
What's his name again? Oh yeah, of course, I remember. It's Nathan, or Nate, like how he prefers to be called. How could I possibly forget his name when it is the middle name of...
That jerk.
"Yeah, I'm fine," I replied, emotionlessly. Which may or may not have sounded a little rude.
