Chapter Five - Challenge

CHAPTER FIVE

EDWARD'S POV

"Ed, is something bothering you?" Niall asked me. "No, of course not." I denied. "Do you guys think that girl who came out of the bush yesterday saw us beating Harry?" I asked them, wondering who the witness was. "Nah, I don't think so mate, maybe she did see us beating Harry, but she didn't see our faces, if she did we wouldn't probably be in school right now." Niall pointed out which we all agreed to.

Out of topic, Louis suddenly pointed out a girl out in the school field with a group of girls. "She's quite the chick isn't she?" Louis checked the girl out. I recognized her, she was the girl I bumped to yesterday morning. Dawn, if I remembered right. "Yeah, I guess she is. But she surely won't be able to resist me." I smirked, my ego on the work again. "You're so full of yourself Haz." Louis scoffed at my response. "What? It's true! I can get any girl in this school in all their will." I replied, laughing slightly.

"Just not my Danielle." Liam joined in. "Or my Eleanor." Louis added. "Ha! Of course. Just not my best mates' girlfriends." I assured them. Danielle and Eleanor were just really good friends of mine since they are my best mates' girlfriends. They're really nice girls. "Bet I can get her without a problem." I smirked. The boys scoffing and laughing at my words. "How can you be so sure Ed?" Zayn questioned. "Because these curlies, get the girlies." I gestured to my luscious locks. "What is that, your new line?" Niall laughed. "Yup." I replied.

"No." Louis suddenly muttered. "What do you mean no?" I furrowed my eyebrows in confussion. "I don't think so. I don't know she just seems...different. I have this feeling you can't get her that easily." Louis smirked at me. I narrowed my eyes at him. "You wanna bet?" He thought for a second before replying to me. "Fine. How bout if you can't get in her pants before a month has passed then you will have to run around naked, circling the school, embarassing yourself to everyone, and getting suspended by the principal." I laughed at his challenge. "I'm fine with getting naked and getting suspended by the principal. That benefits me in a way. Except for embarassing myself." I replied to him. "What do I get if I win?" I questioned curiously. "You will recieve $100 from each of us." Louis offered as all the other boys groaned at him since he didn't even ask for their agreement.

"Deal." I shook Louis' hand, the other boys grinning at us. Time to get my flirty self working. "Watch me." I muttered to Louis as I started walking away from them. I walked over to where Dawn and all the other girls were. They seemed to be getting to know each other, laughing and giggling, but their attention averted to me as they realized I was heading towards them. "Hey babes." I greeted them with my amazing smile. "Hey Ed." They all giggled except for Dawn, she was just smiling shyly at me.

"Yeah, I was going to invite you guys over to my house tonight, I'm throwing a party. Tell your other friends too. Be there okay?" I told them confidently, knowing they would all come. "You should come with them Dawn. It's going to be real fun tonight." I tried convincing her. "Um, I don't know.. I don't really go to parties." She hesitated. I placed me hands on either side of where she was sitting as I came closer to her. "You know, girls like you should get out more. Feel free. Go wild." I leaned in more closer so that our faces our only centimetres away, before saying my last words. "With me." I whispered that only she could hear, in my deep, raspy, most seducing voice. All the other girls just look astounded of how forward I was being to Dawn, they were just watching and listening to us the whole time. I could tell some of them were jealous just by the way they look at Dawn and me.

As I leaned in even closer, I felt her hands pressed to my chest as she quickly pushed me away. This is unusual. No girl ever rejects the Edward Styles. I looked to see her flustered face as she hastily picked up her things and sped away. "Don't worry Ed, we'll come." Anne reassured me. I really wasn't going to throw a party and only decided to when I came up to the girls and Dawn. But I guess I was now. "Yeah...see you girls there." I tried giving them my best smile even though inside I was disappointed that I didn't convince Dawn, instead she rejected me. I started walking back over to the boys by the tree, they were laughing at Dawn's rejection of me. "Mate, you just got rejected!" Zayn laughed along with the boys. "No shit." I snapped. "Guess you're going to try harder than that curly." Louis patted me on the shoulder as I huffed loudly. I guess Lou is right, she is different. I'll get her though. Soon. I'm not losing this stupid bet. No one ever rejects Edward Styles.
