CHAPTER NINE
DAWN'S POV
Time for biology again. As I entered the class, sure enough all seats in the front were taken, and of course the only vacant seat was beside Harry. I rushed over to the seat beside him, flashing him a smile, which he returned, as I settled down. I heard whispers and Anne was gesturing me over to where she and her friends were sitting, but I hesistated. "It's okay, I'll stay here." she shrugged and turned back around. I didn't care what Anne and her friends would think. Harry hasn't done anything wrong, she probably doesn't even know the 'real' Harry. I don't think she have seen his soft side either.
"Okay class, take out your homework on page 69." Mr. Clark announced as he entered the class, disorganized with all the papers in his hands. Oh shit. I forgot about it! "Do you have your homework?" I asked Harry, maybe he has his homework. "What homework?" He questiones back. "Nevermind." I sighed as I turned to face the front. I mean, I shouldn't really be surprised about it. Harry never has homework. For the first week of school, he didn't submit a single homework Mr. Clark assigned. All he reasons out is: 'I didn't have time to do it.' I'm going to get in trouble if Mr. Clark starts questioning random people and I don't have an answer. Luckily, Mr. Clark didn't ask me or Harry. He probably knows that Harry doesn't have homework. Again. As I started working on the page he assigned us to, Harry started chatting with me.
"Do you like Ed?" He asked.
"Your brother? Well, yeah he's nice, he's just kinda..too flirty around me."
"I mean, do you 'like like' Ed?" He cleared.
"No, I don't see him like that. I just want to be friends with him, not in a relationship." I answered.
"Why not? Don't you think he's sweet and nice and he seems to like you, a lot. You know what? I'll set you on a date with him. I think you guys should get to know each other."
I furrowed my eyebrows at him, getting confused by his words today. "What's up with you today? Did you bump your head on something hard?" I scoffed at him. "I thought you said you hate your brother? You never even wanted to hear his name mentioned. Are you in a good mood or something? And no, I don't want a date with him, he just doesn't seem like my type. He's too full of his self. He thinks he some kind pg god that can get any girl, which he cant, at least not me. Harry are you okay?"
His face seemed to fall for a second but his jaw became tensed and his eyebrows met, furrowing at me. "Nevermind." He huffed angrily. I don't even know why he's suddenly pissed of me. "Anyways, do you want to work with me on the page?" I asked, trying to lighten up his mood. "No, bitch." Woah, woah, woah.
"Did you just call me a bitch?!" I turned my head to him, cocking an eyebrow.
"Go work on that fucking page yourself." He replied bitterly, turning his head to the window.
"Why are you being such a dickhead today?! I thought we were friends?!" I shouted to him.
He scoffed loudly, a smirk playing on his lips as he shook his head. "Friends? We were NEVER friends. That was all just a little act."
I am so confused right now. What the hell just happened to him? Was he really just pretending to be friends with me? Was this all some kind of joke?
"Fuck you." He snapped.
"Asshole."
"Bitch."
"Piece of shit."
"Annoying slut!"
We didn't even notice that the whole class have been staring at us the whole time, hearing our conversation. Mr. Clark, who obviously heard us too, seemed like an angry bull, I could almost see steam coming out of his nose. "Harry Styles! Dawn Skyes! Detention after school!!!" Great, just great. I grabbed my slip from his desk as Harry followed, grabbing his after me. Why the fuck was Harry even acting like this today?!
