We are on week four of still being on the Island. But Blue, Phoenix and I were walking around in the Jungle.
They had shown me the watering hole a week and two days ago. I am not going to lie or joke, but it was so refreshing and amazingly magical to see predators and prey finding a common ground where they don't go after each other. Where they just enjoy the peace and serenity of the watering hole.
I also managed to get Phoenix to wear a flower crown. Which was blue as it was her favorite color. While I made mine with yellow flowers. Don't ask me why I made them, even I don't know why. I just did.
"Sometimes making something can help your mind relax," Kida said as she was busy making a scrap book.
"Seems you do that a lot," I commented getting a hum from her.
"True, but you fiddle with your bracelet, fingers, pencils and pens," she pointed out as she listed my oddities.
"That's why we get along so well. You make things that I end up fiddling with," I grinned playfully getting a playful glare from her before we laughed.
Never mind, I remember Kida's words were the reason I did that.
Only at the moment we ended up coming across a old run down building that was from the original Jurassic Park. It was the old visitors center that was over run by the nature of the Jungle. With vines lining the walls like snakes wrapping around prey and flowers all around the vines, under the trees along with them all being close to the building. It gave it both a creepy and ethereal looking vibe to it.
Blue sniffed around in the air before snarling a little causing me to tilt my head slightly in confusion.
"He can smell the Compy's inside along with the lingering stench of the Indominus," Phoenix explained for me, causing me to nod.
"Some people believe that Hammond was eaten alive by a pack of Compys as he had fallen down a hill after hearing the roar of the T-Rex," I muttered as we made our way inside, which caused both Phoenix and Blue to look at me.
"Well he died of natural causes. Although it probably would have been a fitting death to die at the claws and teeth of the creatures he created," Phoenix said with a contemplative tone to her voice. Blue just nudged her as he gave her a pointed look grumbling.
"Maybe that should've happened to Wu. After all he did create the Indominus and didn't tell anyone what all it was made of," I muttered. Remembering Phoenix telling me how the Indominus was made up of a whole bunch of different dinosaurs, along with every day animals.
Phoenix gave a hum in agreement, although I swear I just saw her eyes turn into slits. It could've just been a trick of the light. But I saw Blue give a firm nod of his head with a huff.
When we got inside the visitors center it was over ran with vines hanging from the ceiling. Ground covered in grass and flowers. Seems there is some Compy nests up in the rafters of the building.
How the bloody hell did they get up there? I mean they're tiny as heck. Yet they still got up high to make themselves a nest.
There is also an old vending machine in a corner as well. Along with a scaffolding being near the building as well. The place does give off a haunting kinda vibe. Kinda gives me the creeps. Although Kenji would have a breakdown about how it's haunted, or cursed. Then again he'd have a melt down if his hair got ruined.
I ended up jumping with a yelp as I bumped into Phoenix because of a pesky Compy that decided to ran past me. How I knew that, it was because it let out a squealing kind of clicking noise as it's body grazed the side of my leg.
