Chapter 5: Adrenaline decline

(Y/n) pov:

"You know it's been a few minutes and I haven't seen the opposition yet. They're probably just coming up the stairs soon." I said as I looked down the hallway I made from breaking down the walls and barricading the designated halls.

"So you heard us hu?" A guy with extremely blond hair with a black lightning bolt through it said with Jiro next to him. "No it's just you wouldn't waste anymore time than you already have. And one more thing what's your name friend."

"Denki Kaminari, yourself?" He asked politely "(Y/n) Hamamoto. Now let's give the spectators a show, shall we!" I asked as I rocketed forward transforming only my lower body into my digitigrade legs and kicked him to the side into a wall. Landing I took a left cross at Jiro's shoulder as she dodged out of the way.

Kaminari got up with a groan behind me as I turned my attention to him. "That hurts." He said while grabbing his head with one hand and raising the other in to a finger gun. I grabbed his right arm with my left and delivered a gut punch putting him through the wall. "Shame I thought that the best of the entry students would actually be able to deliver a better fight and don't think you can run Jiro." I said as she tried to get a punch to the head in as I ducked out of the way and off to the side.

"Why are you so fast?!" Jiro rightfully asked. "Right I never told you about my quirk." I said gesturing towards my legs. "You see my quirk allows me to change my body to reflect anyone and their physical abilities or as you have seen merely part of their body."

"There is no need to get into the details of my quirk." I thought as I kept easily dodging Jiro's punches. As I backed up I reached out towards one of the barricades and pulled a old broken plank  of wood out and using my new extra reach I slammed it into the side of Jiro's head so she would be out for the count. "Hey Kaminari are you awake?" I asked taking a quick glance where he had landed "ok then. Well I hope...  fuck what the hell is his name again soba no, soda not it, sony no that's the name of a company, Shouji yeah that's the name, can keep him busy for a while."

I wrapped Jiro up in the white capture tape that was provided to us before the training began. I sprinted to the top floor to hold the line or ambush mr finger guns. "No you don't!" I heard Shouji yell as I entered the building's roof. I could see Shoji in the corner with the bomb behind him trying to not get hit by the electricity that the blond was throwing out however I decided against going in for the sake of observing the quirks in front of me.

"Four point five volts!" Kaminari yelled as he shot another bolt missing his target even though Shouji didn't even move out of the way. "Interesting. It makes sense that electricity would be hard to control but if I am remembering correctly electricity likes it's metal." I thought as I walked towards the half torn apart walls which has a rebar frame to keep the mostly concrete building standing.

I started tearing out the rebar frame to be about my current height. "Hamamoto you mind helping me out!"  Shouji yelled into the ear piece we were wearing. "Sure. Just back up and focus on protecting the bomb. HEY KAMINARI!" I yelled getting the blonde's attention.

"When did you get here!? TEN VOLTS!" As he attacked I stood still crouched down and threw one of the rebar rods above him. "I can't kill him but I can stop him from running for the bomb." I thought to myself as the electricity went right through the rebar and hit close to me but not close enough. After a few seconds of throwing rebar and having Kaminari dodging them.

"Looks like your out of pipes. So just stand sill and get knocked out already." Kaminari said confidently as though he was actually going to hit me. "You couldn't hit the broad side of All Might if you stood a centimeter in front of him, sparky." I stated as I darted forward towards Kaminari as he prepared to take fire.
