Chapter 6: Something bigger

(Y/n) pov:

"All right then. I'll see you after school." Shiggs said as I took off hoping the reporters wouldn't notice me however it was in vain to hope for anything. "Have you seen All Might yet?!"
One asked.

"What is All Might like?!" Another yelled from the back as I pushed through not talking but thinking. "MOTHERFUCKERS GET OUT OF MY WAY YOU GOD DAMN HARASSING FLEAS!" I thought just barely not letting it slip as they kept hounding me with questions.

After a few minutes of pushing I made it through the wall of meals, and as I walked through the gate I gave them the finger not bothering to look in their direction as they kept asking questions after turning towards some of my classmates.

I was approaching the door when I heard Iida yell. "HAMAMOTO!" As he ran extremely fast nearly crashing into me. "You must apologize for your rudeness towards the reporters! They are only trying to do their jobs after all!" He said while making a chopping motion with his hands when we heard the gate slam shut.

"Wow looks like some dumbass reporter thought they were smart. And no I don't Iida it's a waste of time after all if we keep this up we're going to be late and you wouldn't want That now would you." I said smugly

"Of course I don't want to be late however the media deserves some respect!" He said trying to get me to admit it as we walked through the halls. "Fuck no they don't. They basically harass people all day long and somehow it's not illegal, so no I will never give them respect." I retorted violently.

"They are only people who have to make a living Hamamoto and besides you're training to become a professional hero and like it or not but interacting with the media is a large part of it!" He said desperately trying to get the upper hand.

"Actually I would say that it's completely possible to escape the media." Uraraka added her opinion into the mix while standing next to Iida. "Why are you taking her side Uraraka?!" Iida yelled turning to her as everyone in the hallways looked at him as we walked.

"Well take a look at Aizawa sensei. He managed to make so few media appearances that no one in the class except Deku knew who he was." She explained her reasoning while Iida looked at her dumbfounded.

"Ether way insulting them is wrong no matter how you put it!" He said finally ending his idiotic argument as we reached the massive doors to our classroom and walked in to take our seats. After waiting for a few minutes Mr. Aizawa sensei walked up to the podium at the front of the room.

"Decent work on yesterday's combat training you guys. I saw the video feeds and went over each of your teams results, Bakugo your talented so don't sulk like a child about your loss ok?" Aizawa said giving constructive criticism. "Yeah whatever." The blonde responded somewhat quietly which is a first.

"And Midoriya I see the only way you won the match is by messing up your arm again. Work harder and don't give me the excuse that you don't have control over your quirk ok? That line is already getting old. You can't keep breaking your body while training here, but your quirk will be really useful if you can get a handle on it. So show a little urgency hu." The man said as though he was bored as hell.

"Right!" The green haired kid who I now knows name is Midorya shouted with a determined tone. "And Hamamoto." He said taking a pause. "Yes sir?" I responded.

"Good job however don't gloat, at all." He stated simply. "But that takes the fun out of it." I said with a smile. "Fun is not important what is is getting the job done understand?" He said a little harsher. "Fine." I said begrudgingly.

"Let's get down to business. Our first task will decide your future." He said monotonously yet somehow being ominous. "IS IT ANOTHER QUIRK TEST!" The entire class thought worriedly at once.
