Chapter 8: Afterparty

3rd person pov:

"Sooo you called?" (Y/n) asked walking next to Kurogiri. "Ah yes young (L/n), Shigaraki wanted you to bear witness to this." The mist man said barely loud enough to hear. (Y/n) looks towards the staircase before seeing All Might fighting the Nomu with a flury of punches. "Yeah Nomu isn't winning this one hu?"

"Well it is possible for Nomu to loose, the fact that All Might has weakened over the years just makes Nomus victory more likely." He stated locking his eyes on the fight in front of them. As they gazed on at the fight it seemed Shigaraki started gloating... agian, as All Might was talking to someone.

All Might used one of his punches to distract Nomu before getting behined it and suplexed it causing a mass of dust to swirl in the air. "I hate the guy but I have to admit he is a somewhat good fighter, even if he is sloppy." (Y/n) states in her altered voice. As the dust clears it is revealed to all that Kurogiri had opened up a portal saving Nomu from being stuffed in the concrete.

Another portal opened underneath All Might for Nomu to emerge from, grabbing his sides digging it's fingers deep inside his old injuries. Kurogiri moved closer to All Might and Shigaraki while (Y/N) stayed near the fountian. "It's not over, it can't be over. There's something else isn't there All Might? A plan? no, your to much of an idiot for that. What are you doing?"

(Y/n) thought as she stared at All Might and the blood seeping from both his mouth and sides. They stugled against each other for a moment before Nomu sunk into the portal dragging All Might with it. After a moment Midorya rushed foward but was stopped as a explosion slammed into Kurogiri.

"GET THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY DEKU!" Bakugo yelled waking (Y/n) out of her trance. Her eyes now resting on bakugo who was on top of Kurogiri with a hand on his neck brace threatening a explosion. As he is doing that Todoroki froze the Nomu while it couldn't move.

All Might escaped Nomus grip as kirishima through a punch at Shigaraki as he doged out of the way. (Y/N) decided it was time to intervine and rushed foward and grabbed Todoroki from behind. "What the?" Todoroki said as he glanced at the masked figure readying his hand to attack. "If you attack me now you'll end up hitting yourself, and besides I can easily shatter your ice."

(Y/n) shuffled with Todoroki over to Shigaraki as the other students stared at them. Everyone paused for a moment, it was almost as if a swich was flipped. The atmosphere tense as the students locked their eyes on (Y/n) and the villains did the same to Bakugo.

"Kurogiri, how could you let this brat get the best of you? You've gotten us into a real jam here." Shigaraki said in a hush trying to find a way out of the situation. Shigaraki stood there holding his hands together calmly which impresed (Y/n) on how well he was handling this as he normally would have thrown a fit. "Nomu."

Shigaraki stated simply as Nomu begain to screach and pull itself out of the portal severing its right arm and leg, yet it still moved. "STAY BACK EVERYBODY." All Might shouted back at the students. Nomu looked fowards at All Might as the ice covering its body shattered. Its body began to buldge out a little before muscle formed from where its arm and leg used to be.

The now fully regenerated Nomu stood tall over everyone in the area. "What is this? I thought its quirk was shock absortion?" All Might asked giving a scowl instead of his usual smile. "I never said that was its only quirk." Shigaraki said managing to pull off a sinister tone with his cheese grater like voice.

"Nomu is basicly a highly advanced punching bag that hits back. Now we need to free our method of escape." Shigaraki said calmly, giving Nomu the signial to attack. A mass of dust swirled in the air again. (Y/n) no longer needing a hostage threw Todoroki to the other kids and took her place behind Shigaraki.
