Finally making it to New York I got off the bus and looked for a cab. Once I was in the cab I told him to take me to the nearest hotel.
Once we made it to the hotel in checked in at first the was giving me a hard time but you know money talks. I paid for two weeks.
Making it to my room I went to shower since I was on the bus for damn near 3 days. Once I was showered I put on the complimentary robe they give you and climbed into the big bed. Deciding to order room service I got some chicken and broccoli.
2 months later
For the last two months I haven't really left this hotel room. I've have 3 breakdown and I've just been depressed. But today I decided that life moves on and I had to get up and move with it.
I was currently looking online for a job. I ended up extending my stay in my hotel room to three months. Yea I got the money took from Joe but that's only about 40k since I paid for my room and got me a new phone. And I need a car ASAP and yes I got my license I got them my junior right before all that shit started happening. I see it's a strip club 2 blocks from here. Getting up i got dress so I could go check it out.
10 minutes later.
"Hi are you guys hiring?" I asked the girl at the front.
"Yea hold on one moment" she said Turing to walk away. A few minutes later she returned with a lightskin dude with tattoos he was fine might I admit.
"Hey my name trigga" he said extending his hand.
"Well I'm Imani and are yall hiring?" I asked shooting straight to the point.
"Yea what you looking to be and how old are you?"He asked
"I-" I said before I heard my name get called. Feel my anxiety rise I started to panic and turn and run out but I was gently grabbed.
"Yo Imani is that you?" Turning around I saw Leah. Leah's dad and my dad was best friends. She use to live in cali but about 2 years after my dad died her dad move her and her mom to New York. We kept in touch and talked everyday top for two years but then life happened.
"Oh my god Mani I missed you so much" she said hugging me. I kinda became stiff but eventually I hugged her back.
"I missed you to." I said kinda of a whisper I mean I did miss her she was my only friend.
"What you doing here?" She asked once we pulled apart.
"Um I'm looking for a job. I just moved here like 2 months ago." I said rubbing my arm.
"Yo saiah give her the job" she said turning to the boss.
"What position? And can you start tonight?" He asked
"Bottle girl and Um sure." I said.
"Okay benji and Leah will train you." He said point to a thick ass pretty brown skin girl.
"Okay" I said walking over towards her with Leah next to me.
"BABYMAMA!!!" Leah yelled as we approached the brown skin girl.
"What you want Leah and quit yelling." She said laughing.
"This is Imani and saiah wants us to train her. Imani this is benji Isaiah's fiance and my babymama." Leah said introducing us
"Hey you are pretty and thick." She said smiling at me
"I know she ain't have all that when we was kids." Leah said laughing
