"I kinda like the second location." Mani said as Me, her and Leah was all on FaceTime talking about the buildings we looked at today. We all wanted to open a shop together. I do Nails. Leah does hair. And Imani does waxes, lashes, and make up.
"Yea me to I like how it had the big sitting area, the back area where we can add another nail tech, Mua, and hairstylist. Then the three rooms so we could all have our own work space and office."
"Don't forget the kitchen. We maybe could rent it out to somebody." I added in.
"Yea you right about that." Mani added.
"Hey boo what you doing." Saiah came in plopping on the bed.
"On the phone with Mani and Leah talking about the building we went to look at today." I said looking up from the phone.
"Wussup Mani May weather. Wussgood big mama." He said popping his big ass head in the camera.
"Fuck you isaiah." Leah said rolling her eyes.
"No bae why would you say that know she sensitive." I said hitting his arm.
"Damn girl heavy handed ass my bad Leah." He said mugging me and rubbing his arm.
"What ever." Leah said rolling her eyes
"Yall pick a spot yet." He asked.
"Yea we going with the one over on 14th street." I said.
"That's coo me and the boys got an office over there." He said shaking his head.
"Anyways I'm making Sunday dinner tonight if you whore wanna come." Mani said.
"I'm down" I said mani could cook for and I ain't feel like it.
"You knew I was coming the moment you mentioned anything to do with food." Leah said shrugging her shoulders causing us to laugh.
"Of course you was." Saiah said In the back ground."
"Ima fuck you up Isaiah" she responded.
"Yea yea yea but I'll be there to never miss a free meal." He said rubbing his hands together.
"Ofc you don't but ima bring Izzy" Leah said rolling her eyes.
"Man I can't deal bring my paisley Pooh to." Mani said.
"Okay we gotta go get her from his mom's. What time?" I asked.
"7-8ish." Mani said.
"Okay bet see yall then" I said
"See yall later." Mani and Leah said together then hung up.
Imani
Pulling up to the store I need some aluminum pans. Getting out the car I walking I headed straight from what I needed. Grabbing 3 medium size pans I headed towards the counter.
"Imani?" I heard when I turned around I saw the dude I was at Walmart last month he had texted back and for just a little nothing major.
"hi" I said setting my stuff on the counter.
"$5.67" I gave her 5 and told her keep the change. Grabbing my bags I turned and walked out the store
"So how you been?" He asked catching up to me.
"Good you?" I asked tryna keep it short.
"I've been good waiting haven't texted me back in a while." He said with a smile.
"My bad I've been working like crazy." I said
"It's coo but I was wondering could we maybe go out to dinner?" He said
"Um my work schedule is kinda all over the place right now but I'll let you know when I'm free." I said reaching my car.
"Ima hold you to it." He said then turned and walked away. Getting back in my car I set the bag in the passenger seat and pulled off toward home.
Pulling up to my apartment I parked in the parking garage. And got on the elevator. Pressing the 13th floor I waited until it stopped. Stepping off I walked toward my apartment. Unlocking the door I walked inside kicking my shoes off heading for the kitchen. Setting the pans down I walked upstairs to change into something more comfortable. I put on some black Nike pro shorts and a fitted tank top with no bra. Heading back down stairs I started to get the stuff out but then I remembered I didn't call Messiah. I picked up my phone and dialed his number.
"Yo wussup lil bit?" He said when he answered.
"Nothing much what you doing?" I asked
"Nothing driving otw to my moms. He said looking down at the camera licking his lip. Lord this man knows he's fine but he's a man whore so I wouldn't even go there.
"Where Nelly?" I asked
"She right here." He said picking the phone up showing her on her iPad. "She got on headphones so she don't know you on the phone right now.
"Oh well I'm cooking Sunday dinner if you wanna come and bring Chanel. Everybody else coming to." I said
"Yea ima slide through" he said look back down at me.
"Okay ima let you get back to driving Pooh see you later." I said setting the phone up and going to the fridge to get the rest of the stuff l need out.
"Alright I'll see you later lil bit" the he hung up.
