"So what going on with you and East?" Leah asked sipping from her wine.
Me her and benji were having a girls night drinking wine, girl talk ya know that stuff.
"Yea we've noticed yall getting comfy lately." Benji said looking at me smirking.
"Girl nothing. But we did get into a little argument last week." I said rolling my eyes
"What happened?" Leah ask
"Last week when all that happened and he left out I was with Chanel until 4 maybe 5 am I texted and called this nigga to see when he was coming back and if he was okay. He didn't respond. Some he come in and I'm like I called you. He basically says he was busy and why was I tripping cause I'm not his girl. Like nigga I'm here with your kid. The least you could have did was text saying hey I'll back late can you watch Chanel for me all it took. " I said rolling my eyes
"Y-." Leah was about to say before we heard a knock at the door. Trigga walks pass up and goes to open the door.
"UWNCLE SAIAH!!" I heard Chanel little voice. Rolling my eyes cause I know her dad with her I sipped my wine.
"Hi tete Leah and tete Yana" she said coming to hug them
"MANI" she said running to hug me.
"Hi little mama." I said hugging her back.
"Tete where paypay?" She asked talking about benjis daughter.
"She in her room gone go find her." Benji said pointing up stairs.
"PAYPAY!" She yelled going up stairs.
"NELLY!" Paisley said coming out her room.
"Wussup sis what yall doing?" East asked side hugging benji.
"Drinking catching up." She said
"Wussup bro" leah said
"Wussup sis" he said side hugging her.
Looking down at my phone I scrolled on TikTok to preoccupied my eyes.
"So she don't see me here." I heard him say.
"Ion know" Leah said shrugging her shoulder.
"Mani say high." Benji said.
"Hi East." I said looking at him then back at my phone.
"I'll be back I gotta pee." I said walking out the kitchen down the hall to the bathroom. Going in I used it washed my hands then walked out. On my way out I ran into something hard. Already knowing who it was I rolled my eyes
"Yes East." I said
"Why you calling me that?" He asked
"Calling you what?"
"East" he said
"Thats yo name ain't it?" I asked crossing my arms and looking at him
"Naw not to you." He said licking his lip.
Boy this man know he fine. I thought.
"Can you move?" I asked trying to get pass him but he had his arms on both sides of me.
"Naw not until you tell me why you been ignoring a nigga?" He said
Looking at him with a blank face "yea move for you piss me off" I said chuckling
"What you mean man." He asked still not moving.
"What I mean nigga you know exactly why I'm talking to you." I said rolling my eyes
"I don't though." He said

"Imani for real what I do." He said still blocking me from moving.
"So you don't remember the argument we had." I said
"Yea what about it. I mean it to you not my girl." He said
"That wasn't the point Mfka the point was you didn't even let a mfka know you was okay while I was with your child who was asking for you and you wouldn't answer. " I said finally moving his arm.
"Mani wait your right I'm sorry the least I could have did was text you and let you know I was coo and I was gone be out late" he said grabbing me and pulling me back.
"Mhm was that so hard?" I asked
"Man chill." He said laughing. "You done being mad at a nigga?" He asked
"Mm I'll think about it" I said walking away.
"Yea yea yea and don't call me that shit no more." He said
"What?" I asked playing dumb.
"You know what ma." He said
"What east. I could have sworn that was yo name." I said laughing.
"Naw not to you it Messiah to you" he said
"Yea I hear you." I said sitting back down grabbing my glass and he went in the living room with Trigga.
"Yall was gone long what yall do fuck?" Leah ask
"Girl no." I said rolling my eyes laughing. "He did apologize tho." I said
"That's good." Benji said
"I'm hungry" Leah said
"Mani you should cook." Benji said
"Girl uh un Leah you cook" I said fast sipping my wine.
"Nope you cook the best." Leah said
"Who cooking?" Trigga asked coming in the kitchen.
"Boy"Benji said laughing
"Always hungry" Leah added "and we tryna get Mani to cook."
"You should that chicken you made at yo house warming dinner was good asf." He said rubbing his stomach.
"Yall don't even got that stuff" I said rolling my eyes.
"Well send the boys to the store"Benji said
"Babe go to the store for Mani" she said to Trigga "what all you need?"
Making the list I gave it to Trigga and they headed out.
"Mommy can we go play in the back yard?" Paisley asked coming down stair with Chanel in toe.
"Yea come on." She said walking to the back door unlocking it. We all headed to the back yard so we could watch the girl.
"I think I might be pregnant." Leah said looking at the girls play causing me and benji to look at her.
"What?" I asked again.
"I missed my period I thought it was just late but it still hasn't came yet." She said.
"Well I got some test." Benji said getting up and going back in the house. We came out with a box shortly after.
"Here" she said passing Leah the Clearblue box.
Leah took the box and look at it.
"Girl go take that test" I said
"What if I am. I'm not ready for a kid? What is he don't want the kid? Oh my god." She said starting to cry
"Leah chill he loves you. And your never prepared he'll me and saiah still learning to be parents. And you won't know unless you take it." Benji said.
Leah got up and went to the bathroom. A few minutes later she came back.
"It said to wait for 5 minutes." She said
"Mommy look me and Nelly built a sand castle" Paisley said coming over to us.
"It's so pretty baby yall did a good job." Benji said "but come on it's getting late time to go in.
"Okay" they both said running inside. We followed then inside going to the bathroom with Leah. She sat in the toilet while me and benji stood us three all just looking at the test.
