I met with Montgomery and her friends in the courtyard, just as planned. I wondered where they were going to take me, since I know very little around here.

"Hey Anthony! You ready for lunch?" Montgomery asked.

"M, Its Alexander, not Anthony." Montgomery's friend whispered, just loud enough for me to hear.

"Oh, my bad." Montgomery corrected.

"Yeah, I'm ready. Where are we going?" I questioned.

"Oh don't worry about it, Alex. We know where we're going." The hot jock that I noticed in the hallway this morning answered. I was still very curious where they were gonna take me, but just hearing this man's voice had me following with no regrets.

The school has a rule that if you leave for lunch, then you must walk, so you'll be in walking distance of the school if anything bad happens. I, personally, think that's the stupidest rule, but whatever.

We walked to the nearest restaurant in the area, and I was not expecting what they chose. I was thinking more along the lines of a little diner with burgers and fries, but instead it was an elegant restaurant with full course meals, priced well over my budget. They said on the walk over that they normally don't go to places this extravagant just for lunch, but since it's the first day, they decided this was a great place. I only had a $20 bill, and the food was priced close to $30, so I told them I was only going to order a drink and a side salad. That's when one of Montgomery's friends slipped another $20 in my pocket and whispered to me, "Order what you want."

I definitely assumed the worse from these rich people, but I guess I was wrong. So far, this group of friends has been nothing but good to me. During our lunch, Montgomery introduced her friends to me. There was Lilybeth, the sweet brunette who gave me the $20 for food, Branson, the hot jock that I learned played lacrosse and was Montgomery's boyfriend, and some other guy who played lacrosse who's name I think was Leo, who wasn't nearly as attractive. I'm obviously going to have to get over Branson, but no one will know if I fantasize about him doing some very bad things to me.

"It's your turn now, Alexander. What are you like." Montgomery prompted.

"Well there's nothing special about me. I lived in London for the beginning of my life, until one night my biological parents were going on a date, while I stayed with the babysitter, as I was only 6 years old. On the way to the restaurant they were eating at, they were hit head-on by a drunk driver. After that day, I became an orphan. It wasn't until I was 15 that I was adopted by Fredrick and Meredith. And that ladies and gentlemen is the story of my life." I answered, hoping that they wouldn't make this situation any darker than it needs to be.

"We weren't asking you to trauma-dump, Alexander. We just wanted to know what you are like." Leo stated nervously, probably hoping I wouldn't take that offensively.

"Yeah, tell us about yourself: your hobbies, what you like, what you don't like, you get the gist." LilyBeth stated, trying to lighten up the tension.

"Oh okay, I am 16 years old and have no clue what I want to do with my life. My favorite color is red and my favorite food is chicken alfredo. My favorite subject in school is chemistry and I love going to the aquarium. I definitely want to have kids one day, but that is a tough challenge because, this might be a shocker to you all, I am gay. I haven't told Meredith or Fredrick yet, but I will when I need to.

"Oh shit!" Montgomery exclaimed. "I mean, I support you, I just didn't expect that." she continued.

"Damn, me neither." Branson claimed, then continued sipping his soda.

"Aww, I hope you find somebody to love here! We won't tell anyone about it, until you're ready. Right everyone?" She stated, then everyone replied in sync, "Right."
