The voices fade in the background as he took his seat on one of the chairs on the bar at the Tech Summit he attended in New York boasting their company for producing the latest innovation of AI Assistant. Who would've thought that Off would end up using the course he had graduated in and pursuing the Tech business building his own company with his stardom already on the past.

5 years , 5 years he had built reputation on his own in the tech industry and as one of the youngest CEO's in Thailand, now promoting their products abroad.

He huffed a sigh, summits and conventions like this always tires him out. He personally have to be there to present to the best of his abilities. Ordering a rum on coke the shake off all the nerves he had awhile ago.

"Sir, we have a dinner meeting at the tower later at 9 30"- Secretary

"Yeah yeah sure just fetch me at the hotel, I think I need a little rest"- Off

Off a little irritated at his schedule particularly at his secretary who does nothing but nag.

"The future is New, The future is you?!"

He turned around annoyed that he had to berate that someone that made fun of his tagline awhile ago but he held his tongue.

What faced him is that familiar doe eyes with the charming mole on the side and a quirky cute smile he could melt. He smiled from ear to ear.

"The future is you.." - Off

I held my hand up urging the latter to take it and he did. Hastily grabbing his hand as if he'd be gone in a sec, New tumbled right at Off on a stool chair just right beside the bar.

"Hey easy.."- New

He chuckled playfully.

"You've been chanting that line for almost five meetings and 3 summit conventions now for the last six months, I fear that its having a different meaning now."- New

He laughed, his eyes squinting playfully at Off. I love it how those sparkle spread on his eyes and the tips of his nose scrunched whenever he found something amusing. It makes him want to kiss him senseless if they were not in public.

"What if it was?You know what I mean..My future.. is .. you.. "- Off

I missed the guy, I missed him too much all those 5 years of not being in each others spaces made him want New all the more. They just started to reconnect when he by chance saw New at one of the conventions he attended as a speaker, he knew he will make it big as one of the sponsors of the summit. Raised his own finance company mainly branched here at New York, he'd come a long way. After a year he went missing he received a message from New that he was well, all apologies and such were discussed and they went and carried on with their lives, although unspoken Off really did wait for him and still he had hopes even after all that's been done. Buried his life at work built on his company, made it through ups and downs with New in his mind. Never a promised that they'd had to wait for each other but it was there and he can feel it, even if they rarely talk or message on phone.

I found out later that he studied again in New York a year and set up his own company with some of his business partners he knew from Thailand and based himself here.

A laughter snapped me from staring at the guy in his navy suit fitted and hug all the parts there is to flaunt from his body. He rather look ravishing in a sleek Armani suit in a Chinese collar cut.
