Tay was pacing back and forth in front of the office.

"Peng would you stop you're making me dizzy!"- Off

I was sitting on the couch near the door.

"Peng aren't you nervous? Are you sure about this, why am I nervous? I'm not the person in question?! Fuck this is nerve-wracking!"- Tay

He stopped a few seconds grunting and funnily cursing thin air. It was a show if I could just sneak in a video and let New watch it would be hilarious. But I was nervous as well.

"Just... Wait why am I acting this, I am not New's boyfriend... Well I wish I were but he loves Peng" - Tay

"Hey, what are muttering like a fool there would you please stop, please Tawan just sit here and wait? I'm begging you" - Off

He looked at me bewildered. Scratching his head.

"Right, I'll just sit here right" - Tay

But his leg is tapping the floor and it's irritating me. So I slapped his thighs.

"Owww what you do that for?!!"- Tay

"Stop for the love of God!!"- Off

Then the door to the office opened and Gun came out, with a smug look on his face. Mouthing me New's dead. I didn't know if Tay caught it but he shouted his name.

"Gun!!"- Tay

But he was ignored by Gun and the latter just walked away his manager in tow. I stood up and went in, Tay was pretty anxious he tugged my shirt.

"Can... Can I just go with you like moral support or charm whatever!!"- Tay

"What are you guys doing come in, Yes Tay you can be the moral support whatever you want to be. Just stop pacing around I can see you from inside the office as well" - P'Tha

We sat side by side in front of P'Tha's desk. Off looking bored as hell what behavior is this? I judge his leg to sit properly but he ignore me and kept playing with the buttons of his shirt.

"So, you guys know why you're here"- P'Tha

"I don't I just tagged along right?"- Tay

"No it's good you're here Tay thank you, you can relax you don't have to sit upright its distracting me so not you" - P'Tha

I melted at the chair,  thank goodness P'Tha was nice.

"Off?"- P'Tha

"What did Gun tell you?"- Off

He asked straight away without even batting an eye as he looked dead straight at  P'Tha. I can say that I don't want to mess with Off if he is like that.

Off is a kind person, he just lets us do whatever we want with him and plays around with us, that's the reason New and me got close to him. He doesn't even consider New as Nong but as the same age as him. As we started a few years back. Everybody in Gmm respects and is afraid of him. More so the newly recruited juniors.
They say he always watched people like a hawk and is close to only a few people.
That is true actually, he is very vocal about what he likes and what doesn't.

In terms of attitude, he and New are not that far off so I am surprised that they got along a little more than expected.
He concedes easily if it's his advantage and he quickly lets things go as long as it won't hurt him. But judging from the way he is acting now, he was up to something and I think it's no good.

"Nothing that concerns you, anyway..." - P'Tha

"What comes out of that midget concerns me the most, Phi? Do I have to spell it out? You know me most I have been working here for quite some time now to earn that recognition aren't I?"- Off

I slapped Off's arm.

"Phi he is just joking, right Off" - Tay

I was eyeing him, how could he say things like this?

"No it's okay I'm used to this" - P'Tha

Used to this? Wait do they always talk like this?

"It's New ... I need to talk to him." -P'Tha

"No, I won't allow it. He is still recovering and I don't want him stressed." - Off

I looked over Off like he had grown an extra limb and a head.

"Off? Is it true? New and you?"- P'Tha

"Yes, so?"- Off

"It's your ship, fans if they knew" - P'Tha

"I don't care, if I'm being a nuisance I can quit." - Off

"What Peng No!!"- Tay

"Shut up" - Off

"Okay... Zipping it" - Tay

"You know you have contracts, I can sue you?"- P'Tha

"I can sue you as well for negligence food poisoning of New, and forcing me to a skinship with Gun. I can show CCTV footage of that day, and a contract where I filled that I was bound to have skinship whatever, it's either you lose just an actor or lose face which do you want Phi?"- Off

Off looked at him dead in the eyes.

"What about New? He could lose his job as well?"- P'Tha

"I can work for us, We can go to the states to start anew without anyone bothering us. He could quit his job, I could pay for the damage I don't care, just leave New alone" - Off

"You had it a planned out huh" - P'Tha

He asked amusedly.

"You never change, I just need to ask what Newwiee's take in all of this." P'Tha

"You don't need to, you can say it to me." - Off

"Off, are you serious about New?"- P'Tha

" I am and I am not going back down without a fight, we've been friends Phi. I respect you but I can't leave New alone knowing he's going to get through this again. So just please don't involve him in this. He doesn't have to know"- Off

Off said with a stern voice, the way he said he will take responsibility made me awe his courage in facing this issue, he was not an old lion for nothing. He was a sleeping lion bare your teeth against him and he will fight back. He knew the ways he had been around the entertainment scene for quite some time and he knows what he was doing.

"I got a nice offer at BOC, and I am having second thoughts. Since its a timing that my contract is ending in a few months more, I am thinking of options."- Off

He said while tapping his finger on P'Tha's desk. I saw Phi waver a bit with his news.

"If Gun talks on media, it's not my call anymore... Do what you want as long as it doesn't breach contract"- P'Tha

Off stood up like a businessman, confident and beaming.

"Thank you I knew you would understand me, with Gun I'll take care of it. Thanks, Phi"- Off

We were about to dart off the doors when P'Tha called Off.

"Jumpol .... "- P'Tha

"Yes?"- P'Tha

"Take care of Newwiee please, I'll clear a week of his schedule, tell him I'm sorry"- P'Tha

Off chuckled and smiled at him.

"I am always, yes noted I will tell him"- Off

P'Tha laughed and it was a hearty one, I knew Phi had the soft spot for New.
When we got out Off faced me looking all worried.

"Peng, you love New right?"- Off

"Do you have to rub it in? Of course, I do" - Tay

"Then don't tell him not a word" - Off

He was dead serious looking into my eyes. I just nodded in agreement, I knew what he was about and I know things are going to go ugly soon. I just hope this time nobody takes the fall all alone.
