POV: First person, Lloyd.
I placed my cereal bowl into the sink. Turning in the water, washing it throughly. Dad came in yawning loudly, "Hey kid, did your mother already left?" he asked as he opened the fridge.
I hummed as I dried my hands. I picked up my backpack, already at the door, "oh yeah and La-Lloyd?" he called for me, as my hand twisted the doorknob.
I turned to him, "Yeah, dad?" I blinked.
"Have fun at school!" He smiled and waved, then chugging a chug of milk.
I chuckled, "Oh yeah, right. Thanks dad," I opened the door, taking the stairs to get to the bus stop.
Once I was at the bus stop, I was met with a whole bunch of people. Too many people. How will we fill around 3 dozens students in one bus? Oh well, guess some of us will just have to wait for the next one.
I sighed, already knowing that this was going to be a long day for me.
Ever since that day my friends and I revealed ourselves as the secret ninjas, we've been having a different sense of popularity. Before revealing our secret, everyone... didn't like us, well especially me. They hated me just because of my last name.
But now, it's good that I'm not bullied. But I want people to know me as a friend, a classmate even. Not some evil dad's son or a famous ninja. Hell, I even have a fan club going on at school that probably has huge posters in the hallways saying, 'WE LOVE YOU LLOYD❤️💖❤️🔥💝💓💘💞' like well yay! But... no.
Even the cheerleaders made a song about me, a positive yet cringy song...
"Oh my gosh," some girl whispered to her friend as I waited for the bus. I put my headphones on to block them, "It's Lloyd!"
Their whispers and texting weren't negative but positive. But it was only about how I'm such an awesome ninja. About how good of a friend I am? Or how good of a friend I can be?
Once the bus came, I waited for my turn to get inside. Until the students turned to me, waiting for me to go first. I sighed, "Uh... thanks," I took the stairs, there I saw many hands up in the air.
"Oh oh! Lloyd some sit with me!"
"Hey Lloyd you know me, from middle school right?"
All those people saving a seat for me. I scanned the bus, seeing Jay who was fast asleep.
I smiled at walked over to him, "Hey Jay,"
He stopped mid snoring, wiping the drool on his chin, "Huh- oh- morning Lloyd," he yawned.
"Um is its okay if I take the window?" I asked.
Jay grinned, "Sure, I'll move," he stood up and let me pass. He sat back down, "hey, you're not so red now. Little crush gone?" he smirked shyly.
I quickly turned back to look at him, nudging put shoulders. I giggled, my cheeks and neck becoming hot, "Shut up..."
"Hey... ow," Jay crossed his arms, still giggling.
I bluffed, "I know that didn't even hurt," I rested my elbow on my backpack. Leaning again the window, watching by passers and cars.
I started down, glancing at a (f/c) motorcycle. Isn't that Uncle Wu's motorcycle? Hmm, maybe someone else likes that color too.
The driver had a helmet on. Clearly they since my stare, turning to look at me.
Their helmet was tinted as I was unable to see their eyes, more over if their eyes were expressive enough.
