They both stopped staring at each other when Mr. Singhania announced "Since all the introductions are done let's proceed for the rituals Mahurat nikla jaa rha hai" with some sort of eagerness in his voice.

To this everyone agreed, Aarayna started walking towards her family and mouthed to Aviraaj 'We need to talk' to which he gave an unnoticeable nod.
Present Time
As soon as they walked in, everyone marveled at the decorations and praised Adhisha and Ayatee for pulling everything together in just one day. Aviraaj was led to a stage where Pandit ji performed some rituals, and Aarav marked his forehead with a tilak to symbolize his acceptance into the family.
All the while Aarayna was sitting alone in a dressing room, she could only go out when Aviraaj was done with the pooja.
*In the dressing room*
Aarayna diligently monitored the security of Dhruv's mansion in Greece when she suddenly heard the door creak open. Despite her initial urge to use the nearby glass vase as a weapon, she composed herself and faced none other than Mrs. Singhania, who wore a self-satisfied expression.
"What brings you here Mrs. Singhania?" Aarayna questioned.
"Nothing just came to take a look at my daugh---" she got cut off by Aarayna who spoke in a dangerously calm tone, "I dare you to complete that word woman"
Reena took a deep breath before speaking once more, "I came here to check on you. Who knows what you might be up to, tarnishing our name. And while I'm here, I must say, you look quite unattractive in that outfit. I don't understand why they even agreed to marry their son to you in the first place. You're one lucky bitch to be marrying into the richest family in the world, possibly the universe. You don't even come close to their standards. But unfortunately, their family was destined to have a curse like you. There's nothing we can do about that. Just wait for the song to start playing and try to put a smile on your face. Maybe then you'll look a bit prettier,

Reena stormed out, leaving Aarayna seething in anger. She couldn't believe her own mother's hurtful words - she was beautiful and successful, even without her family's support. But the betrayal from her own flesh and blood shattered her once again. Just as she was lost in her thoughts, Vidya entered the dressing room and began talking.
"Come on di let's go, Jiju is waiting" With a teasing look on her face, Aarayna forced a smile on her face but her mother's words kept on ringing in her ears 'MAYBE THEN THEY WILL NOT ABANDON YOU'.
