The room was dark, was it night already?  Suddenly the bulb above my head switched on, and the surroundings became clear, the floor before me white with stains of red,

NO... NO

I tried to get up but still chains, covered with blood bound my hands, it's a nightmare I know it has to be a nightmare, he can't find me again, right?

Suddenly a voice came from my side,

"No, it isn't a nightmare, baby girl! "

It's him, I didn't dare to look at him and instead closed my eyes, he wasn't here right no he can't be, I needed someone to save me, this time I did, I shouted the first name that came in my mind,

"AVIRAAJ"

But he wasn't here instead of his soothing voice, came his voice, full of malice and anger,

"You wound me, baby girl now suffer the consequences"

I shook my head vigorously as he entered my line of sight, his face illuminated by the light, his familiar light brown eyes with a scar on his left side. I pressed myself against the wall, hoping this nightmare wouldn't repeat itself. I struggled against the chains as his hand crept up my knee and thigh, feeling repulsed. I let out one final scream before everything faded to black, enveloped by a warm sensation.

Author's POV

Aviraaj emerged from the washroom only to find Aarayna thrashing about with her eyes shut tight. His face twisted in panic, he quickly climbed onto the bed and embraced her from the side, supporting her by her shoulders,

"Sshh... it's ok Rayna, relax it's just a nightmare "

As she ceased her frantic movements, her eyes remained shut and her body trembled. Nestled against his bare chest, her face remained concealed. Surprisingly, his heart continued to beat steadily as he lay down, embracing her tightly and whispering sweet words into her ear. He showered her head with gentle kisses, and although her heart still raced, the trembling in her body had subsided. Aviraaj held her so tightly that not even a breath of air could pass between them,

he was warm whereas she was cold,
he was calm whereas she was restless,

But one thing was common between them, they both were dark individually, but light to each other, he didn't know that she was making place in his body, mind, and soul and she didn't know that he was unraveling her deepest secrets. They both were in denial and they didn't know that, it was madness,
