Author's POV

As the first rays of dawn were yet to grace the land of Rajasthan, the early hours were still shrouded in darkness, with only a faint glimmer in the sky. In a serene scene, a man and a woman lay entwined in each other's arms, finding solace in their peaceful slumber. The man rested his head on the woman's lap, while she leaned against a tree, her hand gently kept on the man's neck as they peacefully slept.

Peace...

The tranquility that surrounded me was palpable, a rare feeling that had eluded me for ages. It was as if I had been free of all the wrongs I had ever committed, allowing me to sink further into the comforting embrace beneath me. But since when do I have a warm pillow?

This thought immediately made me open my eyes and the first thing that came into my view was legs, smooth silky legs, which were of none other than Aarayna Singhania,

In that moment, all I could see was RED and of course, if it weren't for her, I would have mercilessly ended his life. He should have known who he was messing with, soon-to-be Mrs. Aviraaj Singh Rathore.

When the ferocious beast inside me awakens, everyone keeps their distance and avoids touching me, except for one person. As soon as her delicate hand grazed my shoulder and our gazes locked, my only desire was to protect her from this wicked world. It felt incredibly wrong, yet strangely right. I am untamable, but perhaps, for a fleeting moment, she had the power to tame me. Or maybe, I simply couldn't bear the thought of her being afraid of me. Yes, that must be the reason.

As I replayed all the events from yesterday in my mind, it dawned on me that my excessive weight must have caused her legs to ache, and her back... I felt like such a fool. Quietly, I tried to get up, but the word "attempted" perfectly described my struggle. The moment I lifted my head, her hand on my neck swiftly transformed into a tight chokehold. Even though I could have easily escaped, I made the conscious choice not to. I locked eyes with her, noticing the haze yet intense alertness in her gaze. When she realized what she was doing, she released her grip and leaned back, whispering under her breath,
