Yunlan felt the ground move under his feet and closed his eyes when the vertigo hit him but he was aware of the secure grip around his waist and knew that it was only temporary, guessing that Wei had transported them away from the youths on the street and arrived around the corner from his office, out of sight of CCTV. He had a few things to say to Shen Wei that could not be overheard in his office.

"Your way of getting information is interesting, not sure if it's legal or not, they were young and were questioned without a guardian, plus you planted an idea in their heads, is that not some kind of coercion?"

"Yunlan, they were over the legal age to question, my way of asking probably worked better because if the police had asked, they would have clammed up, and the thought I planted in their minds at the end, will probably save lives. Anything I do, and whatever method I use, always have the same goal, to save and protect life."

Yunlan had just had his first experience of Black Robe's justice system which he couldn't fault after listening to the explanation of Wei's actions and he stared into his eyes, smiled and nodded in agreement before he passed through the door and entered the main office.

"Keys, Lin Jing," and continued walking as he caught his office door keys, allowing him to unlock and enter, showing Wei the information that he had found in the archive below the building.

"Everything written down is exactly what you've already told me, I was surprised at some of the photographs, the likeness to the staff today is uncanny, and also the same names, except one name, one of the chiefs was called Kunlun not Yunlan, was it a written error?

"No, that was a story all on its own, I still talk to him sometimes, but less often these days," Wei answered, unaware of Yunlan staring and waiting for an explanation as he sat at his desk with the information spread out in front of him. Wei sat on the edge lost in thought, until he felt Yunlan's hand rest on his knee and he glanced down at him and smiled.

"I'll take you to meet him some day, he's very much like you, and no, you won't be dead, just asleep, trust me."

"So how much do we tell the team to keep them safe, and... safe from whom?" Yunlan asked.

"Well, it was the government scientists at that time who developed the drug as a weapon, and it has been classified ever since the peace agreement, so I imagine that it is only known to a certain few which makes me wonder who is behind the fake trials."

"Alright, I'll call them in, stay and listen for me, I can't put them at risk and this is dangerous, even just to talk about it... if it got to the wrong ears..."

Yunlan gathered his team and impressed on them the importance of what he was about to disclose, the new drug on the streets, the fake paid drug trial advertisement, what it actually did and how it killed the users. Next was the hard part, where it originated from and why secrecy was so important. Any searches would need to be conducted the old fashioned way, no internet, which was like a bomb going off in his small office as almost everyone complained except Chu, who was silent and registered on Shen Wei's radar immediately.
