Chu had been alert watching for any changes in the sleeping prisoner, aware of the conversation between his boss and Shen Wei, knowing that if the drug acted in the usual pattern, this man would lose his memory completely. He wasn't sure of how he felt over the injustice of the dead man's killer not being punished in some way, would losing his identity and all his memories be punishment enough, who knows.

Yunlan returned with Shen Wei walking behind, and nodded to Chu as they entered while Wei took his seat once again to speak to this man.

"Guo Ying, hear my voice and wake up, you've slept long enough."

The sleepy man stretched and opened his eyes to look across at Wei becoming fully alert.

"You are being charged with murder and your files have been entered into the system."

All three waited to see what effect the statement would have on this man who had been preconditioned to achieve this as his goal. He immediately dropped back down on to the table to sleep, causing Wei to rise and check his pulse, making sure that he was still alive, and requesting that he could be taken to a cell with a bed and guarded until he awoke and would be assessed. Chu lifted and carried him to the nearest vacant one, locked it, then sent for Da Qing to babysit the prisoner while he left for some fresh air and a coffee.

There was no knowing when Guo Ying was going to awaken and Shen Wei had to return to A&E, he'd been away longer than he'd expected but he left simple instructions with Yunlan on what to ask when Ying awoke.

Yunlan returned to the main office and straight to the coffee area before having to brief his team about the new developments, the report on the prisoner had not been filed yet, it would need some careful wording to avoid alerting the organisers that they knew. Yunlan felt as if he was becoming slightly paranoid when he asked Lin Jing if there had been any strangers visiting the office while he was with the prisoner and could he immediately run a security sweep for any transmitters in the two offices. He waited patiently for the results which thankfully were negative for both rooms, before he called all his team into his smaller office and closed the door.

"Guo Ying was a plant for the people behind the drug to gain legal access to our files and search for any information that we have. They gave him a pill this morning but because he fulfilled his task, the drug won't kill him, however when he awakes he will have amnesia, he won't know a thing about himself or anyone else, or the fact that he committed murder. There was a leak but it didn't come from here, a nurse filled in a report at the hospital about the husband who survived and our department was named as having dealt with the incident. Shen Wei thinks that its possible that Guo Ying may end up being admitted to The City Psychiatric Hospital and that there could be someone in there watching for reports on the drug users through normal medical files.

I need some creative writing for Guo Ying's report before it is filed as normal, making it safe for us and also confirming that he was arrested for murder before he lost his memory. Lin Jing will start doing a regular sweep for bugs in both offices and everyone pay attention to any visitors who enter this office. Keep. Yourselves. Safe. Dismissed."
