Shen Wei awoke with a crashing headache and recognised it as a reaction to chloroform, his next thought was why? It had been a fast move and he never had the chance to avoid it, they were waiting for him outside the main entrance, bold he thought, too confident of success. The building looked familiar to him but his thought processes were slow until the effects of the tranquilliser would wear off. He had been dumped on the floor of an empty room, bare walls, no furniture except some built in cupboards and the floor had a cracked tile pattern, which kept nagging at him to remember.
The voice spoke to him from a monitor on the wall displaying the room Wei was in and his present condition, mainly to inform him that there was nowhere to hide, the camera had a complete view of his surroundings and he would be under constant surveillance.
"Why am I here, and who are you?" Shen Wei asked while he stood up and tried to think of how to escape.
"The man in black saved you from the lethal flu doze, you should have died, I tried to draw himout several times but he never showed his face, but for some reason, he protects you and ZhaoYunlan, who will be my next target if he doesn't save you." The calm over confident voice answered showing his self assurance in this situation.
Wei instantly stopped thinking about escape, no way was he going to let this madman anywhere near Yunlan and why did he want Black Robe?
"Who is this man in black and why would he save me? Why do you want to see him?" he asked his abductor.
"So he's secretive even when he saves you, interesting. I want to kill him. Mr grandfather was convicted because of him and while he was in prison, he worked out a plan to get his revenge, leaving the instructions on video for his descendants. Explaining his weaknesses and how to trap him, but most of all, he left a sample of the drug he had been working on in the hands of the family layer, to be given to the next in line to take over the business. And that was me, my father died early in life and wasn't interested, so when I became of age, I inherited everything, the first thing I did was look into possible uses for this drug and adapt it to suit different situations."
Shen Wei now knew where he was and could remember the drug supplier who must have died in prison for this new young crook to take over, the only good thing that he learned from the worthless dribble of words, was that this guy didn't know that he was Black Robe. The bank robbers dressed in black were used to lure him out, also the main reason why two people die in A&E, because he was linked to Black Robe and Wei felt sick over the fact that they were just tools to a means.
"I'll let you rest but later we will begin, and find out what it takes to bring him to rescue one ofhis favourite people."
The TV screen went blank but Wei knew that the camera would be pointed at him, watching his every move and he sat down to start meditating, or so it looked to anyone watching.
