"Yunlan, hear me, you said that you would always know where I am, and that you were strong enough to protect me, well prove it to me. I am not doing so well now, don't know how much longer I can stay awake and I'm afraid to close my eyes. This mad man keeps talking about history so this place is linked to the end of the war, it looks battle damaged, old building, out near a forest, he talked about the Second Dimension, so it could be near a gateway or door. Yunlan was alert in an instant, it had to be a dream but he sounded weak which was not a good sign and he flew through to the bedroom, and barged in,
"What's wrong, he's dreaming again, talking about red coils and being restrained?"
Chu was stunned, how did Yunlan know what the dream was about and he recognised what the incident was by his description.
"Wei was kidnapped by the assassin and he was tied to a wrack while his life was slowly drainedfrom him, if he's seeing that now, he's in trouble."
Yunlan slipped past Chu and sat on the side of Wei's bed holding his hand, while he witnessed the rest of Shen Wei's dream, listening to the mental conversations between Wei and his partner who was at the other side of the laboratory door ready to teleport in and heard his last statement of love for this man.
"You will always be the sunshine in my day, and the moon to light my nights, there will never beanyone else, whether you are the angel caring for my fevered brow or the Dark stranger givingme strength to survive the night. Stay with me this night to help me sleep."
This had the same effect now as it had then, and Yunlan immediately broke contact to tell Chu who realised that Wei was slipping away in the nightmare which could easily be paralleled now. No way was Chu going to let that happen, he threw out his green medical strings to cover him using them to feel his heart beat, ready to deliver shocks if necessary.
The dark clouds started to appear at the bottom of the bed, slowly and continuously moving past Wei's feet, working their way up steadily, along his body and past his head until the bed was completely hidden, snapping Chu's strings connections.
"We have help tonight," Chu whispered to Yunlan, and knelt in respect, "Thank you, My Lord."
"The Entity is caring for him for the rest of the night." He explained to Yunlan, and they both sighed in relief and left the bedroom heading for the kitchen for tea and something to eat.
