Several people rose immediately and ran towards Yunlan's office where they found him on the floor unconscious. Lin Jing and Chu stepped aside for Shen Wei because he was a doctor, allowing him through to examine their boss.
Wei secretly scanned his body looking for anything to explain why he was unconscious and found a large bump on his head plus a wet patch on the floor, so he smiled and sat beside him while he waited for him to wake up, and explained to the rest of the staff what had happened. They seemed to be annoyed but all were relieved that it was a simple bump on his head. It took time for him to regain consciousness while Shen Wei sat enjoying several cups of tea, and the staff were willing to let him wait without asking questions, because they knew what Yunlan was like with attractive targets, and this doctor was just his type, they were very accurate without knowing.
At last he moved slightly and moaned at the headache before opening his eyes, Wei leaned over and spoke quietly,
"Would you like me to fix your headache?"
"Yes please, I slipped on something, I think."
"Yes, you did and you also worried your co-workers, they worry over you a lot. You need to bemore careful."
"I'll keep that in mind, thank you, now help me up please Shen Wei."
Da Qing had already been in to dry the slip hazard and Yunlan was helped up to sit on his sofa while Wei had another look at the injured ankle.
"Let me see this and I'll try to hurry it on a bit, get you out of this support a little quicker."
He raised the injured ankle on to the sofa and removed the blue support, while he felt the bone with his fingers, sensing where the break was and any changes in the area while passing some healing energy into Yunlan's injured leg and helped heal the break. Yunlan could feel the gentle heat pleasantly coursing through the damaged ankle and was enjoying the relaxation it brought with it, almost falling asleep again when it all stopped abruptly, as if someone switched off the electric blanket and the heat was gone. Shen Wei strapped the support back into position and stood up to leave the office when Yunlan remembered about his ideas from the previous evening.
"Shen Wei would you be interested in helping the police, meaning us in this office, to findcriminals and law breakers? Just sometimes, not every time," and then he whispered, "You stilldon't know why they were dressed like you."
"I would like that but what reason would you give your team for me being here? I'm a doctor nota detective."
"Did you study psychology or psychiatry, or in the past did you work for the police in any way?"
"Yes, I was a consultant, and I studied psychology and psychiatry."
"Then we're not lying if we give that as a reason, it's the truth except for... how long ago was itwhen you worked for the police?"
