One fine day at the daycare, Sun was drawing pictures with a kid while Eclipse was playing in the ballpit with some of the other kids.

It was then and there that the kid asked Sun, "Hey, uh... Why's your bro so funky?"

Sun stopped drawing for a bit. "...I beg your pardon?" he asked, sounding almost as if he was half-offended.

"What?" asked the kid.

"That means that I don't understand what you just said, 'funky'?" Sun asked, confused as to why this kid said this about Moon.

"Yeah! Funky! Your bro only comes out when the lights are out, he shares the same body as you, he's... weird!" The kid said, seeming proud of himself for saying it.

Sun put his marker down. "...Are you asking for a timeout? You're starting to sound like you want me to tell my dad on you..." he said, sounding almost mad.

"Your da- oh, Mr. Eclipse?" asked the kid, "I don't think he could do that to me if he tried," said the kid smugly.

"As a matter of fact... I can," said Eclipse from behind the kid, having heard the whole ordeal from the ballpit.

The kid noticed Eclipse, and, startled, began to panic. "Oh! uh- m- Mr. Eclipse! I- y- you didn't hear anything!" said the kid, stuttering.

Eclipse then glared at the kid. "Uh-huh... I see... making fun of my son for sharing a body with his brother and only coming out in the dark... You do know that's a very naughty thing to do... right?" Eclipse asked, sounding mildly enraged as he said it.

The kid began to break a sweat a bit as he tried to explain that he was only messing around.

Eclipse then replied with, "Sure, you may have been messing around, but think about Moon! How do you think he feels?"

The kid was silent.

"...No answer, I see... I think I know someone who needs a time out," said Eclipse, after a few seconds of silence. He took the kid to the time-out corner, and then after he made sure the kid was still, he went over to Sun and put a black shade over his head, turning him into Moon.

"Moon... are you alright?" Eclipse asked, with a worried look on his face.

"I'm alright," said Moon, "I heard Sun's interaction with that kid and I wanted to handle the kid myself... but then you came to put him in time out and then I felt more relieved."

Eclipse sighed. "Yes... what the kid said was rude, but I'm glad you could handle your desires the way you did," he said, patting Moon's shoulder as he said that last bit of it.

Moon smiled. "I'm happy me and Sun have you as a father," he said, happily.

Eclipse smiled as he went under the shade to hug Moon.

For two animatronics that were only kids, or so they were programmed to be, Sun and Moon were truly just as mature and caring as Eclipse ever was.

Later that night, Sun and Moon were in the same charging port, with a lamp by their side.

"Hey, can I ask you something?" asked Moon.

The lamp was turned on, turning Moon into Sun. "Sure, you can ask me anything," he said, before turning the lamp off.

"What's the point of trying to reason with kids if they're just gonna keep saying bad things about us? I- it's just useless," said Moon, before turning the lamp on again.

"...But dad wants us to try to reason no matter what!" said Sun, before he turned the lamp off again.

"I don't care," said Moon, "I see no reason to since kids won't listen to us anyway."

Sun tried to reason with Moon as the lamp was turned on again, but was then interrupted by Eclipse coming into the room.

"Boys!" he said, "No fighting, please!"

Sun turned off the lamp, turning into Moon. "Okay, dad, we promise not to fight before bed anymore," he said, before plugging himself in.

"Goodnight, boys!" said Eclipse, closing the door behind him.

"...Goodnight," said Moon, before getting himself to sleep while charging.
